“Cute little store filled to the brim with adorable decor, quirky stickers, unique earrings, and more! So far I have been here twice and enjoyed my visit each time. There is a spacious two-level downstairs area (divided into a home goods/gifts and a boutique section) as well as a second floor up a narrow flight of steps (the store may look modern from the outside but the stairs are proof of its old-fashioned charm :) ) The upstairs has kids' toys, baby gifts, and Christmas/seasonal decor as well as sentimental gifts.
A couple years ago I purchased a beautiful floral scarf THAT ALSO REPELS MOSQUITOES :D from here, but they no longer carry the scarves :( (you can find them online, though). On my most recent trip, I admired the fun crafts-style earring rack they had in the boutique :) Well worth the stop!
Ambience: Cute n' cozy
Prices: Boutique pricing, so mid to pricier
Minnesota vibes: Uff-da”

1020 S Minnesota St, New Ulm“Ultra charming German shop nestled away in the middle of a residential street on the far end of town. Full of German food from snacks, sweets, connections, steins, homes, and cuckoo clicks with a little Dutch, and Norwegian stuff mixed in. Very charming. Small and tight inside but packed with color and character. No photos inside please.”
“Great local artists selected by the store are showcased in a beautiful store, along with fair trade items from around the world. Love the chocolate, coffee & tea, but a REAL treat is the hot sauces and curries from Africa and Asia. Well WORTH the trip just for these sauces. Note: the store is at the back of the building, so park in the back and just few steps to store. Exception: Wheel chair accessible entrance is in the front.”
