I thought I should write a review as I wish more people would provide more reviews about Valtinson. I was looking for a financial advisor and came across this firm by accident and I am glad I did. Initially, I met with Larry who explained his services and experiences. I didn't feel pushed to select one service over another and ended up doing a Financial Planning service. The subsequent meetings were with Brandon and Larry and they were prepared! Although they are a little slow to respond to my emails, I feel that I have their full attention and they addressed all the questions I sent prior to the meetings.Retirement planning has a lot to do with managing tax and Brandon and Larry drew many pictures to help me understand the steps to take throughout the pre/post retirement. I expect to come back closer to our retirement to review our plan. I am sure tax law will change and I can count on them to help me efficiently use the funds I worked years to save.

A colleague of mine recommended that I work with Valtinson Tax Services, part of Valtinson Bruner Financial Planning, when my annual returns started getting more complicated. I've worked with Justen Valtinson for several years now and he has been fantastic. Justen works hard, communicates well, takes time to explain things, and is very transparent about the actions that he takes. He has been genuinely accommodating over the years as my tax needs have changed. I highly recommend Justen Valtinson and Valtinson Tax Services!

Valtinson was recommended to me by a close friend after they helped her with some estate planning. They are long time customers of my friend’s parents as well. Then, when I had a highly complex situation come up with my families estate planning, they came to the rescue. I couldn’t have figured it out or managed without them. Very competent and responsive. They also do an excellent job with simple and more difficult taxes. I’ve seen them in action with another friend in a complex situation as a widow and they were great.

I've invested with them for a long time. Never once did they communicate to me directly about investment opportunities. Went elsewhere and am extremely happy. I now have an investment strategy that makes sense while we are in the midst of uncertain times.
