I arrived 15 mins at my appointment at the New Brighton Fairview location and was denied to be seen by the doctor. The lady at the desk was uncaring and rude since I was actually on time for my appointment, this is so unacceptable!! Then they lied and said you're late and I had to be 30mins early, this was never told to me when it was scheduled via phone customer service. Then Lona Caires sent a letter lying like I was a no show to add insult to injury. Nobody gave me answers why an if so to be an extra 15mins early wasnt told to me. then the lady at the desk balantly shrugged her shoulders. How is this healthcare for patients when the staff and doctors only care about their bad practices and not patients health?

I had a great experience here last week. It was my first time at this clinic and I thought the check-in was smooth, my PCP was thorough and kind, and the woman who did my lab work made me feel very at ease. Will continue coming here

I have repeatedly had a great experience with Janet Q as my provider. She listens, never rushes me, and is down to earth. Her nurse is also fantastic! I have never had a bad experience with this site!

I made an appointment over a month in advance for a physical and to establish health care as we just moved back to Minnesota. I drove in from Lindstrom to New Brighton for an 8:00 appt to find that they had cancelled, and nobody called. Part of my visit was to get refills called in as I was out of medication. The NP called me and took care of that but said I needed to reschedule to get the exam done which happens next week. I just got a bill for almost 400.00 after insurance for this call. They will not credit it as they say a service was provided. So now I will go in next week and be billed at least that much again. How is that right? I didn't cancel and this should have all been able to happen at one appointment. What about my time and fuel for this inconvenience? Horrible customer service, and we thought healthcare in Florida was bad....

the phone system for M Health Fairview is terrible and I had a lot of frustration with it you cannot call your clinic directly although direct dial phone numbers are published they all take ypou to a centralised line through which you are funneled out to where you need to go and when you get to your call Destination you then have to tell the person who answers the phone there what reason your ca.lling is, in some detail and then when you finally are tranasfered to your nurse or doctor you actually explain the situation third time and if for some reason you're they're not picking up( the rule not the exception ) at your clinic you'll wait on hold for approximately 3 minutes and be transferred back to your operator who's at the beginning of the cycle and have to start the process of explaining all over again. I've gone through this cycle five or six times , several times now while in pain it's been 40 minutes today doing so and spend an 1 hour and 20 minutes the last time I had an appointment there I needed to speak with them because my medical taxi was an hour late and Beyond My Control I was transferred 9 times to either the wrong location or to clinic receptionest that never picked up . mn health fairview needs to hire more operators or receptionist at the locations the handle the volume of patients that they have assumed responsibility for. ia sign of the times where even medical providers are willing to ensure a healthier financial bottom line for themselves at the expense of their patients experience please spend the extra money necessary so patients don't have to go through things like this

The doctor was understanding and extended his hours to be accessible for my husband.

My experience with my primary doctor has been great. My issue is with the lab. I had blood drawn on 12/28/22 for 3 tests. One test result came back within a few hours, but the other two did not. I waited a few weeks and sent a message to my doctor/nurse. They said that the results were not in yet. I contacted them again on 2/10/23, and now the lab is telling me that I have to go back in because they lost the results or misplaced my blood. How long would I have had to wait to find out if I hadn’t contacted them first? To say I am frustrated is an understatement.

Poor experience overall. I made sure to confirm with the clinic that they accepted my insurance when I made the appointment two months ago. Now as I go in for it they tell me that they don’t accept my insurance. When I asked why I wasn’t told this when scheduling the receptionist simply shrugged and said, “Sorry, they must’ve missed that.” After telling me that some locations accept my insurance, I asked which those were, and the receptionist then looked for about 15 seconds before laughing and saying I would have to call around myself. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.

Probably the worst healthcare experience I have had in MN. The staff blatantly lied to me me many times and refused to take responsibility for their actions. Administrators and medical director were rude and overbearing in what I felt they thought they could intimidate me. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this facility, and I am in the healthcare industry myself. The Lord knows I would never consider working there!!! I would give -10 stars!!! If you value your healthy, go elsewhere.

I have only been to this location twice and for the two times that I had been there, I was scheduled at a specific time- but the waiting expectancy is much too long for my liking. I understand that doctors see other patients before me, or they’re finishing up with others’ but people have lives too and can’t just sit in the clinic room for a certain amount of time- and it’s not just 15-20 minutes, I’m talking- 45 minutes-to an hour or so. Thus far, my care provider has been kind- and she does apologize for the inconvenience- but this definitely won’t work out if this happens frequently and I’m talking about long term. I have the patience, but I also want to be in and out just as much as anyone else. My time matters too.

DON'T GO HERE IF YOU ARE PREGNANT! I called on Sep 6 with issues and was told to get an ultrasound by the doctor who gave me the test and instead of a referral for an appointment that takes about 10 minutes. And just 2 to write, I was told to go to the ER. Went to M Healthfairview. Waited 4 hours in the waiting room that was packed. One person had an IV in the waiting room! Nurse took my vitals thought I wasn't pregnant based on my blood pressure! She said I wouldn't get an ultrasound at 8 weeks. I got 2 at time with my son. They would just do blood work. Asked another nurse, a few hours more wait so we left. Called clinic for referrals. No, call OBGYN they said no call clinic. Called clinic, no, call OBGYN. Runaround! Had a breakdown and cried. So stressed. Anxiety, depression and frustration. Made appointment next day so Sep 8, told twice she was a doctor but just a nurse. A phone appointment, or wait until October! Don't know spelling but Kali or Cali James. She was rude and got an attitude a few times And apparently nobody took notes yesterday so she implied I was lying. She said heartbeats at 12 weeks I said it's 6 weeks. Pause, she looks it up, yeah, you're right. Patient educating a nurse! Wow! Would not give referral. Said I would need a follow up appointment. Ok let's schedule. No, with OBGYN. So called got 4 or so different numbers from that just to hear no appointments until November! They don't care here. I didn't have these problems years ago with my son. I'm going to somewhere other than fairview. Pregnant women should not be treated this way or denied help.

I went to this clinic for 11 years and early on, I would have rated it 11 stars. Now, the main word that comes to mind is inconsistent. One receptionist is lovely and kind. The others are more… variable. It is almost impossible to be seen in a timely fashion unless you want to roll the dice with a provider (this is true across Fairviews) and unfortunately, they seem to be driving away a lot of the good providers. There are still some top notch doctors here, but it’s not consistent. Also, billing in Fairview has gone the route of insanity.

My partner and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary soon. Every year that goes by, I remember a physician at this clinic refusing to assist me with obtaining PrEP because “I tried to help another patient get it before and he broke up with his partner after 6 months.” Instead of patient advocacy, I received dismissiveness and discrimination.

Amazing experience every time. Very fast and attentive pharmacy, and every worker I have encountered is uplifting and friendly!
