Management worries too much about the wrong things instead of hiring more cashiers

The review-bombing going on at this location is crazy, and disappointing... Their bakery and deli section (conveniently right near the side entrance off Rice Creek) has always been perfectly fine for me. Yes, it's a small location, it's like half the size of most Cub locations. Temper your expectations, especially if you are a picky shopper and care a lot about specific brands / brand loyalty.

I like the location of this store and it’s never crowded. BUT the eggs and milk I bought were expired by more than a week. I will do my grocery shopping at Target next time

Absolutely the worst Cub I've been in. Shopping carts are poorly maintained. Produce is slim and in bad shape. It's impossible to find anything and there is no one to ask for help. They have no variety and if I'm looking for something specific it's guaranteed they won't have it. I avoid this Cub and drive an extra 10 min to go to the one in St Anthony.

Smaller store and the back entrance is a pothole haven. Other than that it's an OK grocery store. It's older an older building but the inside was given an updated makeover recently.

The old lady who works self checkout seems to always give me dirty looks every time I go there. Either im that good looking or she’s never seen a minority before. Anyways, don’t go to this Cubs unless you have too. Store is small and people don’t help you when you need it. Rating would be better if I don’t always get dirty looks from old and possible racist old ladies.

I give them two stars for having groceries.
I ran in for some tortillas and it was the saddest selection I've seen at a grocery store.
I went to the Cub in St. Anthony and found rows of choices.

my nearby gas station has more options than this cub. every time i swing by, which is seldom, it's out of bottled distilled water. it was constantly out during pandemic, and apparently it hasn't changed. the shelf that stores the water is large enough to hold a dozen. a dozen. that's barely enough to supply about three households ?. avoid this location

This place is absolute trash. “Got rid of shopping baskets”. And was laughed at by a facetious and pompous old lady staff member who clearly thinks too highly herself. Immediately left. The disgusting behavior towards the community is unreal as we are the ones who keep the business open and pays the paychecks of these vile employees. Won’t ever go back as I will never tolerate being treated with such belittling and disgusting display of unprofessionalism ever again. This place was trash to begin with anyway, so it was a miracle that I even went there for my “basket” items.

I’m old enough to remember when this store opened. I stop by if I need a few things when I’m in the area and it keeps getting worse. They got rid of baskets! Today both self checkouts were down and they only had one cashier working…the Saturday before the Super Bowl. I wish someone from Cub corporate would stop by this store and see what a mess it has become because this neighborhood has had and deserves better.

Very small store with limited selections of most foods. It is convenient for a quick stop for the neighbors but if looking for a specific brand or variety, you may not find it here. For a larger selection, visit the Silver Lake Village or Northtown locations.
