This place is THE BEST. They explain everything so clearly and answer all your questions. My cat had to come in suddenly for something kind of serious so they worked around appointments to see him. Dr H. and Dr N. both were SO NICE AND GENUINE. I was getting emotional worried about my cat and one of the reception lady gave me a room alone to contain myself. The vet techs explained what was happening as well. Never experienced such kind and genuine staff. They genuinely care and help your pet in every way they can.

This is by far the best experience we have had at a vet. My Izzy is a baby when it comes to going to the vet. Everyone welcomed her with open arms and were keen on making sure she felt safe. No one forced anything on her without her approval. Im still amazed at the patience and care we received. We felt heard, seen and taken care of. Izzy left happy and when we went back she seemed to be more at ease. Everyone there including the doctor were incredibly nice, welcoming and didn’t try to push none sense on to me. We are very satisfied with our visit. I’m taking my Lola there next! Thank you for all you do !

Dr Hedges and staff got our very sick cat in the next morning even when they didn't have any open appts. Our regular vet of 5 years wouldn't get us in for nearly a week. Dr Hedges genuinely cares about your pet and you. His whole staff is friendly and professional. Thanks Dr Hedges and we now have a new Vet!!! Kallie thanks you too.
Just had Kallie in for shot and check up and Dr Hedges told us we didn't need a $50 shot our old Vet kept telling us we had to have. Thanks for not trying to up sell on us and for saving us $. Love Dr Hedges!!

Brighton Vet is one of the best. Dr. Hedges has so much experience and I know he is always so busy but he is always kind and patient when we have questions. Other veterinarian doctors that have worked here have been really good as well.
Their appointments can book up fast so make sure you book out in advance for preventative appointments.

I had good experiences here until my dog was actually sick.
When I called and said my dog had diarrhea and vomiting the front desk said wait a week to make the appt -Waited a week - diagnosed with stomach infection (expressed anal glands, took blood)
That night my dog had worms coming out of his butt and was very uncomfortable
I called 4 times between 8:30 AM and 1PM before a dr could advise what I needed to do. Diagnosed worms - told me they would call to pick up the medication and never called. 4 hours later I called to see if it was ready - they said oh yeah, it’s ready. No one called me. When I went to pick it up the front desk girl was annoyed that I asked how the medication works as I have never had a dog have worms before.
Overall the customer service and empathy for my dog was lacking. Would not recommend to take your animal here if there is anything wrong or for an emergency.

I fell in ❤️ IMMEDIATELY with Dr Eli and Caroline in particular, but even the other patient's owners were crying with the poor 9 mth old we found in a mans truck that was in kidney failure, with lymes. Dr Eli was literally crying for and with us, as was his nurse...you could feel the raw emotion in all of us with her condition and her fate was so obvious. I called the clinic moments, ago as I promised we would, to let them know her ending. We had decided to bring her back home and cradle her as we give her comfort meds and sips of water, laid her in a blanket and covered her in my warm fuzzy winter coat. Likely the coziest day of her life! RUN FREE SCRAPPY DOO!

Never have I seen such genuine Compassion for animals as I did with this team. They didn't even know our Puppy yet they we're all emotional when we found she had little time left. Seeing them greiving with us was ineffable... I will bring Al my animals here from now on. Thank you DR. Eli and Caroline
