Ised to go there with my dad at the original store in the late 70s... the uneven floors with the ramps to different areas was something that sticks in my mind My dad would drive the 14 miles each way to this place because they always helped and had what he needed. This ":new:" store in my opinion is horribly overpriced and stocked with condescending and outright ride employees. I really like being berated and told I dont know what Im doing when requesting a part from them. SO thanks... I found my belt clower to home at ace ....and all is well. I cant see myself needing to ever go back,,, too many bad experiences and the kicker is THEY JUST DONT CARE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES. TEAD THEIR REVIEWS!

They always have what I need. This time it was furnace filters and indoor florescent lights, along with service people who refuse to let me buy "wrong." I might pay a tad bit more, but I'm only making one trip, and that's because they make sure I head to the register with the right item. Jim always steers me right and does it with a smile. Been my hardware store since 1989.

Called in advanced to see if they could build a replacement storm window. Spoke with rude woman who told me there were too many options to discuss over the phone and I'd have to come into the store. Seems like a nice store, but the old hag in the glass department is someone to avoid if you can. In less than 60 seconds, she was able to belittle another employee and treat me like a moron who was interrupting her day for asking a simple question about making a replacement window. In long berating explanation, she said they couldn't do it, all they do is replace glass. Pretty sure it was the same woman who told me I'd have to come into the store to go over the options.

Best old fashioned hardware and everything else store around. All these years I've lived in the twin cities and never heard of it until I made some new friends who all were familiar with it. Great just to explore. The personnel are so helpful and friendly and know exactly how to help you or direct you to the exact location within the store. Loved tge experience.

Great store, when a product purchased there needs repair! Here is where they fail, communication is horrible. Exsample: I brought a chain saw in for repair we bought from them (simple enough right?) Nope, dropped it off in April never heard nothing for 3 months until I called them, the delema still went on till i finally called to speak to MNGR. He found the part in 2 days dam near 3.5 months and a week later repaired we got a call 29th of August!!!Horrible customer service.

I removed an outstanding review because I had the misfortune of bringing lawn equipment to the service dept. I will never bring anything there again! They are a disaster!

Everyone was so helpful a place I will go again and the bottle pop is so good I wish more places had bottle pop I only took 1 picture but so much more pop then this even picked out the 6 i wanted? I need to go back and get more

Beisswenger's carries a wide selection of items and some of them are surprising which makes this a fun store to explore. I especially like the almost life-size dinosaurs in the garden shop (and the Big Foot statue). They carry everything you could want for backyard birdfeeding/watching, many many grills and smokers (with accessories), power tools, a full selection of gardening tools and plants and much much more. This is my favorite hardware store and I am happy it is nearby.

Awesome local hardware and outdoor improvement store. By far the best grilling section of any store I’ve been too. Much better selection and price than big box stores. Very convenient and safe location. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will be back, too soon, to spend too much money.

3 strikes. I went there becauseI thought it was a good place. Bought. $600 snapper lawn mower based on the sales guy. 2 times on s year I need parts, put on a list and never called. Now my 1.5 year old mower wont start and i was told, 4 weeks, express service, or sell it and buy a new mower. Really! Done with you.

This place always have it no matter what it is your looking for. I called every infiniti dealer and all the chain auto stores did have 1 caliper bracket bolt . All would have been 3 days delivery but of course Beisswenger's had a 8 hardened steel odd size bolt with a tight thread for my caliper that not one dealership had bolt in stock. Psa Always use locktite and your caliper bracket bolts
