Not only is their gas usually priced well, they have the basics of most convenience stores....plus they have bait, some basic fishing tackle etc. Plus you can sit down and have a burger or some chicken strips and tots with a beer or two for lunch. How could it possibly be better than that? Seriously great place, and great people.”
“Very thorough carwash.. doesn't leave any spots behind or residue from the soap. A nice spotless clean. Definitely worth the time it takes to wash it. If you are worried about long lines... Don't go right after 5pm or on a Sunday afternoon in the summertime.”
“My experience was AMAZING! I booked 3 hours for an afternoon to learn new wake surf tricks with 3 friends. The crew at Hang Loose MN were easy to work with and generous with their time and talents. The G23 is a fantastic boat with a worldclass wave.
Capt. Mike is a great coach and helped each of us move closer to our individual goals. I have years of bad habits to break but now I have the 411 on what to do to be successful : )
The smile on my buddy's face as he foiled, rope free, was priceless... like he was 5 years old and in total flow state. Capt. Mike's instructions for foiling behind a wake boat were spot on and easy to follow!
I left the session feeling confident that I will be able to nail some new tricks by the end of this season as well as a much better understanding of how to use wake settings to help new surfers get up behind our boat.
I am already planning my next strike mission to Lake Carlos for another 411 download and adventure.
Pro tip: There is a great little burger and ice cream place called Tip Top Dairy Bar (22 W Nokomis St, Osakis, MN 56360) that is a must try... either before or after your session with Capt. Mike

“Awesome people working here. We rely on this store for our home propane tank as well as refilling our portable propane tanks. Very reliable with fair and reasonable pricing.”

In 5 minutes I was out the door & very happy! Always fantastic food!!!!! The wrap had ham, smoked cheese, bacon, pickles with a light sweet sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, onions- lightly toasted! YUMMMM!”

700 Voyager Dr, Alexandria“I can not belive I am actually telling this secret.I was the biggest Make up Artist in Mpls. for 35 years. So I do know all about cosmetics. Running in to grab a slice of pizza, driving home from Mpls. to Glenwood, I stopped in. As I waited to check out, a large palette of eyeshadows caught my eye.I examined with caution, thinking "This is such a weird place for this item".But, I looked closely at the gorgeous tones and thought What the heck?, Try it.! It was under $5.00, and a second was free. So, I got 2. I had created my OWN line of beautiful cosmetics and brushes. I had a really busy cosmetics studio, that sold tons of products daily, and very loyal clients, who spent buckets of money on these beauty essentials. All I thought was "it was so odd, the eyeshadows must be a poorly formulated product." ( When eyeshadow is cheap, it is usually less PIGMENT and more talc. To my surprise, the "OH-LA-LA EYESHADOWS" , were not only good quality and had lasting pigment, but the colors were just too gorgeous! Apparently, the idea of buying make-up at a convenience store is plain CRAZY. Here's to Pizza, pop, cigarettes.... AND FABULOUS COSMETICS!”

3373 S Broadway St, Alexandria“The only reason why I'm leaving this review is because of the cashier! The cashier is a prime example of perfect customer service! This man has a positive mindset, a great tone and no matter what the hour he is such in a cheery mood. He is the perfect definition of what a cashier should be.”
“We travel a lot and stop at this station often. Staff is always friendly, decent selection of fresh items. Live bait hasn't disappointed either for fishing trips.”

“The older gentleman employee was very nice. He found my sons headphone set that fell out of his pocket when we stopped on way to Alexandra. We were able to pickup on way back home. ???? The meat sticks and jerky are really good there also.”
