Unreliable. It's 2024 and I have to keep a generator and fuel ready to go for the random outages. Nevermind that it's -10 degrees outside.

I pay to 48 dollars just to have service with not any service usedThey say the are a people owned cooperative. Ha! They give you ten dollars back a year. What a joke!

If I could end my business with them I would. Unaccomadating and expensive, disappointing to see coming from such a vital service.

Over charging and then they decide to turn our heat off in the middle of winter... because they can't keep with the demand. Is ice cream joe in charge of this "company"?!

We need more options! The price of electricity is crazy and the service is not the best.

Power out again, non windy day. This is getting so old since we have an infant in the home.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I own 3 properties that are serviced by Lake Country Power. EVERY time I call them for something the call is answered by a person, and quickly. The issue or question is resolved/answered with THAT person, I am not transferred 4-5 different times, and then have to explain again why I am calling. For those who complain about power outages, my experience is that it is restored within 4 hours of the outage. A couple times it has been a few days, but because of a hellacious storm. All of my properties are in the deep woods so it's understandable that it can take some time to wade through downed trees. I am very satisfied with Lake Country Power, thank you and keep up the good work.

Price of power is outrageous. 46 dollar service fee per month for the "privilege" of having their service. Outages every time the wind blows or small storm. Rotten pole ready for the wires to fall off by my driveway, they think it's fine. MN Power's lines run right through my land, but I'm in Lake Country's territory so I can't switch. Monopoly.

Where do I start ? Disconnected the power for a remodel and being worried I would not be able to contact the office for a reconnect gave me there cell phone #s . With a long weekend coming up and not hearing from me ,stopped by just to make sure I wasn't ready for a reconnect . And that feeling in the middle of a cold night when the power comes back on

Absolutely the worst! Rates are sky high, constant outages for no apparent reason, wish I could switch to different provider, but they run a monopoly!
