I started coming to Mounds View because a friend of mine was a tech there and I knew the love of my life Mr. Peepers would be in good hands. While my friend no longer works there, the care my pets have received at this clinic has been nothing short of amazing! So far, my cats have seen Dr. Olsson and Dr. Femrite and both of these women are gems of humanity! Dr. Olsson helped me pull my cat/BFF Mr. Peepers from the brink of death when he had pancreatitis and a skin infection and Dr. Femrite went above and beyond to rescue my sweet saint of a calico Adeana after I had a bad experience at another vet. The whole staff is so great when I come in and I’m so grateful for all they have done for me and my critters!

We bring both of our cats here. The staff is amazing: friendly, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. I can't imagine bringing them anywhere else anymore. I know my cats are in good hands. It's also very easy to get an appointment and if needed call for a rush appointment in the morning when they first open.

We love MVAH! We've been taking our cats there for almost 10 years and now we have a new puppy in the family! They have guided me through so many pretty decisions and never once have I felt pushed into treatments or services that were costly and unneeded. When I tell them my budget concerns they gave me several options on how to treat my cats end of life needs. They have also taken extra time to socialize my puppy and work on a positive relationship with him at no cost to me! They really want my pup to know and love them and not just be the bad pokey place haha.

I absolutely love this animal hospital. I've been coming here for over 5 years now with our family dogs left at that time. Some are no longer with us. All old age. We have had to put dogs down at other hospitals, but their staff is the most kind and do it in a way they pet doesn't feel anything, and that's important to me . Peaceful and quiet with tour pet to say goodbye. Then, the incredible staff will make you paw prints and nose prints for you to keep. I loved that. We now have a new little one and continue to bring her here!!! We love all the vets and all the staff!!! My little pup loves them too!!

I brought my dog to this vet. He has been a patient for 9 years. He was very sick 7/24. On a Monday I called for an appointment. I was told they were all booked. I told the receptionist that my dog was dying. She was very nasty to me. I got him in the office. He just laid there. The vet on duty did an ultrasound and found out he had a tumor in his abdomen. It was beginning to rupture. My dog was in pain. Putting him to sleep was recommended. I said okay. Then the billing person came in and wanted to know how I was going to pay for it. I said I need to see the charges. He kept asking me for payment. I said cand we discuss this after my dog goes. He wouldn't give up. I was frazzled because of the condition of my dog. This guy was really irritati n g me. I said look. I don't get paid until Friday. I can pay you then. He didn't want me to leave the office without paying him. Meanwhile my dog was not being attended. He just laid there. I wanted to punch this guy in the face. The dog threw up and then he died on his own. Then the vet gave him the death shot. I told the vet that I wasn't paying for it because you left him suffering and he died on his own. I was screaming and crying. I left and went home. I paid the vet but deducted the cost of the shot. I have had other dogs put down. I have had compassion from other vet hospitals. These people were only concerned about the money not the patient. I hope people know what kind of place this is before taking their pet here. I will never come back. I

They’ve always done such a good job with our kitty! My favorite vet by far!
They helped us with our cats partial blockage and the aftercare of his full blockage earlier this year. They call in case you forget to schedule a checkup which helps a lot!
Prices are reasonable and my cat is far more comfortable with the staff here than any other place.
Little is back to his happy and goofy self thanks to the vets and staff here :).

Mounds View Animal Hospital has been our vet for almost 4 years. An answer to a question is never more than a call away. They email me reminders for checkups, and scheduling is easy as can be. The groomers do a great job as well. Highly recommend.

We have been clients of MVAH for 20 years. They have cared for 4 of our dogs in that time. One of our current dogs has severe anxiety about the vet and has to be medicated to visit the office. Today we saw Dr. Femrite who was excellent with our vet sensitive dog. She took extra care to keep her calm and even provided her check up and vaccines while we held her. Some reviews say the care is too expensive, which I disagree with, you get what you pay for. We used to live in the neighborhood, but now drive out of our way to take our pets there. Thank you MVAH for taking such great care of our fur family members!

techs were great, doctor was not good, very not people friendly, Dr Sarah Olson, won't have her again, wish the doctors from the early years were still there
