I dropped in for a class while in town for work and had a great experience. I was welcomed right away, and everyone was friendly. The gym was clean and the equipment was in good condition. I was encouraged throughout the workout and will definitely come back when I’m in town!

Best gym! I’m from NYC, but I dropped in for the month while taking care of family matters. Southpaw welcomed me with open arms. The team gave me a space to continue my fitness goals (and establish a sense of normalcy during time of heavy grief / pain). I’m really grateful for the coaches and programmed workouts. Gym itself is really nice, spacious, and clean. Equipment is A+. Coaches are knowledgeable and provide effective scaling options if you’re like me and not quite Rx but pushing for a challenge. Wish I could take the gym and coaches back to Brooklyn.Thanks for the memories, Southpaw! I’ll be back when I visit MN again.

Great place to start your own CrossFit experience. Members are very welcoming and friendly. Coaches are always there to make sure you understand the work out and proper technique.

The facility, coaches, members, and atmosphere are top notch! I just got done with their promotional free week and thought it was amazing! Definitely recommend this place if your looking for a gym and/or great people to do life with!

I’ve had both knees & hips replaced & was skeptical of a CF workout. All of the coaches worked with me to adapt for my range of motion & strength. I felt supported, accepted & appreciated and in better shape!

It's just two weeks since me & my husband joined Crossfit Southpaw. We find it very exhilarating after our stressful day at work. We work hard but at the same time we enjoy a lot. I think it is a good decision that we joined Crossfit Southpaw.

So I had stayed out of the gym game for a bit, choosing to work out at home for the last 6 months or so because I've found gyms to be somewhat lacking in real community (unless you were already part of the crew), and short on the kind of detailed attention from a coach who is actually paying attention and looking to give you just the right tip at just the right time for a breakthrough.I joined Crossfit Southpaw last week. Not only were all the instructors and gym goers warm and friendly, several took the time to go out of their way to introduce themselves and welcome me. The owner, Nick, has been checking in frequently with my progress. The 5am crew even threw some fun shade at me when I showed up at a 6am class, and pointed to their wrists to indicate I was late...haha! Fun, quality, intense, encouraging atmosphere.If you've been on the fence, jump off it and join. I'll make sure to go out of my way to say hi...paying it forward.

I have been very happy with Nick and his staff. I use CrossFit Southpaw to cross train for a master’s swimming program. I am 67, have had a total knee replacement, rotator cuff surgery and arthritis. Yet, I feel comfortable with the program and adapt when I need to. Do not be hesitant if you are inclined to CrossFit out.

I just joined this gym back in June, and it has been the BEST gym experience I have ever had!!! I actually was a part of a different fitness program and in the middle of a year long challenge but dropped out so I could explore CrossFit, and I have not looked back since! I love the variety of the workouts. The movements they teach are actually enjoyable and something I can enjoy, which makes going to the gym a lot easier! There is definitely something for everybody here, and the coaches will take the time to get to know you and meet you with where you are at!

Even though I have been active my entire adult life (now 70), I had never tried CrossFit. Yes, there are members who have done CrossFit for a long time, but even if you are brand new to it, you will fit right in. The trainers are extremely competent, friendly and can offer many modifications. The members are very welcoming and everyone encourages everyone throughout the workouts. The gym is clean and very well run, everything is automated. What I really like is it is not just heavy lifting, there is lots of variety in the workouts; you will never be bored.

CFSP was my first experience with a CrossFit gym and it was an incredible one! I started with almost no lifting experience but I immediately felt welcomed and a part of the community. The coaches worked with me exactly where I was at and I felt so encouraged and motivated to keep showing up and growing my entire time there! Not only are the coaches excellent at helping you improve and reach your personal goals, but the community is incredibly supportive and friendly! I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a place to have community and grow in their fitness and health!
