Fred has always been fair and trustworthy, but he went above and beyond in getting my Toyota Yaris back on the road this week. Even though the diagnostic issue was not an easy one to figure out, he spent much of his own time researching and trying different remedies to find a solution. Thank you Fred.

Fred really helped me out when my check engine light came on and I was 2 hours from home. It was a Saturday morning to boot! All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable! I left with a great understanding of what the problem was and how to move forward. Extremely fair pricing and so helpful!

The best auto repair shop I’ve been to! I was having troubles with my ac working and they were able to get my car in quickly to check what was wrong. They took me into the shop to physically show me where/what the problem was. Fred had to order the parts that needed fixing, but once it was delivered to them he was able to get my car back into the shop. Within the same day I dropped my car off it was fixed! I got a quote at another repair shop before going here and they said it would be almost 700. I was iffy about the pricing so once I brought it to Fred and all was done my total cost came to just over 500. I saved myself just about 200 dollars going to him! Also to mention the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They treat you as if you’re family, you also get to see their cute dogs. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

If you need a reliable mechanic, this is your guy!! We have used Fred for the past 10 years. Fred assisted us recently in an emergency when our camp van broke down in Barnum filled with kids. He dropped everything and drove to the van to diagnose the problem. We strongly recommend him as a mechanic!! Thanks Fred!! You’re the best!!

100000/10 recommend ABC1 Stop! If you want trustworthy and reliable car maintenance and a good laugh this is the place for you! Fred and his crew are very honest and will explain things so you can understand what exactly is going on with your vehicle. They get you in and get the job done in a very timely manner and are very well priced!

Fred is fantastic! He talked me through a diagnostic from 50 miles away, then gave me a tour of the underside of my vehicle while he had it in shop. Very educational and very fare pricing! This is a great family owned business that I would highly recommend to anyone.

We drove from Kansas and our ac went out on the way up. We had our 1 month old with us and needed it fixed for the way home to Kansas with 100 degree weather. They worked late the day prior to the forth of July and the day after for us. I don't know what we would have done in the heat on the way home with our infant. They were amazing!!!!! I would recommend. I wish I could give them more stars.

Definition of a life saver! Ended up stranded almost 3 hours from home. Fred gave us a great deal and place to hang out away from the heat while he did the repair. He sold me a great tire, replaced the valve stem, and even sent us off with some souvenirs! Great small town guy with tons of experience. I wish I could rate him higher!!!

A few weeks ago my daughter and her friend were having car troubles driving home from Duluth. Thankfully the exit to Moose Lake was the closest and the girls were able to get to ABC 1 Auto Stop.. Madeline was amazing!!! She was able to take the time to go over specific warnings in the car as well as fill up the oil so the girls could get home safe.. thank you so much for caring for my girls!!!! You guys are the best!!
