You will be in and out in 4 minutes. I have been to hundreds of car washes in my 33 years of driving. This one, this particular one in Moorhead, is far and above the best!!!

Sad to say, but my monthly membership will be coming to an end. Not one of their carwashs offers a consistent wash anymore. They are closed off and on all the time, water jets never work at the beginning, red lava soap usually out now, and the dryers just don't do enough.

So here goes, yesterday Nov. 1st, I had the worst service I’ve experienced in FMA. These people profiled me, treated me like dirt, and accused me of being a drug addict. I got kicked off the lot for being parked 13 minutes. So the main points are as follows. Apparently, they have drug addicts in the parking lot of the 8th St Tommy’s all the time. So they profiled me as a druggie because I was parked while having car trouble. I was assumed to be something I am not. My words were not heard or listened to at all.When I was having car problems the guy approached and I explained myself. I mentioned I have a membership, and I was calling my mechanic at that moment. The response was, that doesn’t matter. I was being talked down to and yelled at. So I asked why the employee was being forceful. Immediately he started arguing and yelling more. I don’t think anyone would pay for any membership to be yelled at for no real reason. After speaking with the manager Eric Ayala he explained they had drug addicts often in the parking lot there. Apparently they would hang out and bother customers or stare at them and make them feel uncomfortable.Okay so what does this have to do with me, was my thought. Hmm well.. I guess I have a beard, a beanie, a graphic tee, and sweats on. Does that constitute me as a drug addict? Not in my mind. But I sure was treated like one. So I asked to speak with his boss. This was Joel Balko, Site Manager. He really was actually awful. He wouldn’t let me speak. At one point saying “That’s all you called for?” Seems like he didn’t care. It’s just a thing of there’s a right way and there’s a wrong way to do things. Honestly, just kind of surprised me. So I reached out to the owner Jason Gehrig hoping to be treated with a little respect. Oh and no, Joel kindly did not provide me with his number either.Take away: I put this out there to share my experience not hate on anyone in particular. If you want to good service go elsewhere. It’s a car wash you’re suppose to drive in and out. How could a business get that wrong? Honestly. I’m not spending my money somewhere that profiled and disrespected me when I have nothing to do with their problems of loitering addicts. I think everyone deserves better than unwarranted disrespect. I had to advocate to the point that no one but the Owner himself treated me right. That’s outrageous. He wasn’t even aware of the drug addict problem. Communication is key..

Spent 17 bucks, and it didn't even get the dirt off the doors. What a disappointment. Had to wash the car again but somewhere else.

I have had a membership to this location for over a year now, but for the last two months, I have had multiple occasions where I went to get a car wash and they were closed. I pay for a monthly subscription, so it's frustrating when I drive across town to get my truck washed and they end up being closed.

First time using Tommy’s Car Wash in Moorhead. First I would say that the car wash is adequate. The following day I noticed a factory applied medallion missing from the right side of my truck. I returned to the car wash the following day to see if by chance the part had been found and perhaps placed in a lost and found location. I talked to 2 attendants, and a 3rd that apparently was in an office up the stairway. I asked if anyone picked up a medallion part within the last couple days - “Nope”. I asked them to think about it for a moment - “Nope”. I asked them if there was anyone else who may know. They yelled upstairs asking if that person found a part in the car wash - “Nope”. I asked if they could come out and take a look at the part that is on the other side of my truck, so they could see what is looked like - “Nope”. I know that rudeness and indifference are the norm in the world we live in today. That being said, they have perfected it at Tommy’s Car Wash in Moorhead. Feeling very frustrated I contacted Tommy’s Car Wash 800 number and talked to a very nice office person who tried to put me in touch with manager for Tommy’s. She assured me that someone would contact me - nope!! I am very proud of my 2013 Chevy Avalanche so it is important to me to replace the missing medallion. The cost was $200.00.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Would highly recommend. Our truck was filthy after traveling cross country and it looks amazing after just one wash.

Got my pickup washed there, car wash broke my mirror and ripped the paint off my fender. They said it would be 7-10 days to get a claim in. Fast forward 2 months and 4 calls later still no info on if they will cover it. Don’t want to leave a review like this but kind of sickening they can’t give you a simple answer.
