LOOK, THIS PLACE IS ROBBING US ALL. THEIR SALES NEVER MATCH PURCHASE PRICE AND IF YOU BRING IT UP A MANAGER WILL GASLIGHT YOU INTO THINKING THAT THE SALE IS EXPIRED. IMAGINE GOING TO A GROCERY STORE AND PAYING $27 FOR ONE MIDGRADE STEAK.Hornbachers has turned into a last resort, under gas stations, do your due diligence And not shop here.

Selling jimmy dean sausage that expired 2/2/24 (well over a month old, as I was shopping on 3/5/24). The only ones that didn’t say they were expired were the ones without an expiration date label, so I didn’t even bother risking it. Sadly, this isn’t the first experience with expired food at this location - I have mistakenly bought expired food here several times, but didn’t realize it until I was home. Now I always check (hence how I caught the expired sausage), but honestly why do I need to check the date on all of the food when all of the items are significantly more expensive than any competitors - including target! What am I paying more for?Finally sitting at home trying to enjoy a pau pau bowl I got from the sushi section. Few bites in, and I find a shrimp shell. Absolutely disgusting.

I want to start by saying I hate to do this…I went to put some really expensive bleu cheese in my basket and I noticed it was expired. So I grabbed another one. Also expired. Grabbed another…. Expired. They actually got older the further back I went!FIFO guys. That’s how people get sickI get it, it’s moldy cheese anyway and was probably perfectly fine. But that’s not the point

Great grocery store. Hands down a great store. This location is absolutely spotless and clean. They have organized shelves and friendly clerks.Update 10-15-23The store is absolutely spotless and well stocked. It is definitely worth driving the extra distance to go to this location. Checkout was quick and easy.
