If I could give this location a zero I would. I asked for help from the assistant manager he said he would get someone, nobody showed up. When I did get an associate he said they were out even though his scanner said they had 17. I looked above the rack and found them. This store is awful!!!!

The assistant manager at the Monticello store is condescending and sarcastic. I bought $500 of paint from a home depot an hour away. The paint that was labeled the same color did not match. He said, "I'd send you back to the store that mixed it." That store is now n hour from where I live. I said, "I thought Home Depot is a national store." he said, "It is. Have a nice day" in the most sarcastic way with a smirk on his face. Don't shop at the Monticello store!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst delivery experience ever. Home Depot should be ashamed of themselves for continuing their relationship with Linn Star Transfer. In short, Home Depot's contacted appliance delivery service, Linn Star Transfer, pulled a no-show/no call on an appliance delivery and install appointment they confirmed the day prior. This review and one-star rating is for one specific transaction and does not refer to my overall satisfaction with HD. If you want details, read on. Our delivery of a new refrigerator we purchased in-person from HD 7/31 (it was at their warehouse) was scheduled for delivery Saturday, 8/21. I turned down a work shift to be available that day. Friday, 8/20, I received an automated call confirming the appointment for delivery between 0930 - 1330 Saturday. The message said we'd receive a call 30 minutes before the installers arrive. We arranged our day with family to be available during those hours. Between Friday evening and Saturday morning, we emptied the contents of our refrigerator into our garage refrigerator and coolers. The delivery window came and went with no refrigerator and no call. I assumed they were just running late and pushed out our family plans a little further. Finally, a little after 3pm, I called the number in Linnstars message for an update. The only good thing in this review is that LInn Star answered the phone fairly quickly without endless prompts or being on hold. The lady checked my order and told me they had never received the refrigerator from HD so it would not be delivered. I voiced my extreme displeasure with the appointment being confirmed and then broken, after the disruption to our family for the day, and without the basic courtesy of a phone call telling us that weren't coming. They offered no apology or plan to recover from this service failure. I told them I was done talking to them and would take the matter up with HD. I called HD shared the above story with them. They checked our order and confirmed it was not in stock, with no information or estimate as to when it would be. I conveyed my profound disappointment in their service failure and cancelled our order. I did receive an apology from the HD employee. I'd avoid any HD delivery or purchase involving final mile delivery by Linn Star Transfer.

We recently purchased a new home in the area and I must say Home Depot is better than Menards and Lowe’s. I am always asked if I need help and when I do they are always very pleasant. In addition, management is outstanding! Royce and Jeff go above and beyond!!

I always go here for my “gardening stuff” and other “outdoor or patio furniture” needs. I find it very adequate; and I am an independent shopper who would rather be left alone to find whatever I need. I would ask help from employees only to direct me where I can get, for example, today the “patio fire pit” that I wanted in a decent size; they point me to the right direction and I go there and look for one that I want. It turns out to be the one made by Hampton Bay.

The Monticello location is a very poorly run store. You can’t get through most of the store with a cart because they have so much stuff just laying around. They also block off half the store to stock shelves during business hours. so you spend more time waiting for them then anything.

I was very disappointed to see only one staff member had a mask on. No one was cleaning carts. No one asked customers to wear a mask. Sad. Such simple things to protect others, our family, and our elderly. Taking all my future business to Menards. All staff there wore masks, in-coming customers were asked to wear one, masks were provided, carts were cleaned.

I have yet to have a bad experience here. Tons to look through employees check in with you just often enough to not be annoying and have yet to have to find someone if I need help. Tend to stay just around the corner or down the isle. Thank you
