The employees of Monticello Pet Hospital are amazing. They cared for our dog his entire life. Each individual is kind and friendly. Dr. Scott Jacobson is especially someone I would recommend seeing for any animal. He is so dedicated to his role, and always goes above and beyond for his patients and their owners. We are truly so grateful for the care that was given to our boy, Barley. I highly recommend this clinic for all of your pets needs.

First time bringing my dog here- space was very clean and organized and staff was very nice. Saw Dr Jacobson. Shopped around for a new vet after moving and found them to be the perfect fit for cost and being kind when I called.

I brought my cat in after he had been vomiting and acting distant and reclusive. I was going to wait until I could get him into his primary vet, however I was bit concerned and called Monticello Pet Hospital to see if they could see him sooner. I was thankfully able to get in same day for an urgent care visit. He had started a new medication a few days prior so I assumed he was just having some bad side effects and maybe needed fluids to help with his dehydration. His presentation was misleading because little did I know, he actually had a urinary blockage (I had no idea this could even occur in cats) which is fatal if left untreated. Dr. Johnson was the provider that did the initial exam and ultimately came to this conclusion. She explained everything in a way I could understand (even when my emotions were running high). She went over options and her and the wonderful vet tech gave me time to consider how I would like to proceed. They were in contact with other ER vets to find me the most affordable transfer care (this practice is not an overnight clinic and my cat required overnight supervision and fluids). They kept me updated along the way and even called to check up on my cat after he had been discharged. Everyone at this clinic was beyond kind, compassionate, thoughtful, understanding, and showed genuine care both towards me and my cat. Dr. Johnson and her Vet Tech Sam were great in caring for our big cat Tazz! They were able to get him in immediately and addressed all of our concerns. Tazz is working on a speedy recovery from Feline Acne ?? Thank You Monti Pet Hospital!

So grateful they were able to fit us in the day of for an urgent care appointment for my cat who was not eating after having issues eating string. It really helped give us peace of mind. Everyone there was so kind.

My poor pup was misdiagnosed at this clinic and she passed. I'm still not happy about the outcome. I will not come back to this location unless I'm desperate. They do not care about dogs.

We have been here for several years. In recent years, they start to be unable to get the dog in within months when she had vomit and diarrhea etc. They can't get us in with a reasonable time like it used to, instead, asked us to go to a different clinic several times. So we do go to a different clinic since then.
