Went on a double date to the Monticello location. Drinks and wings were bomb! Nick was our axe master and he was AWESOME!! I’m coming back and I better get him again!!! 5/5 stars

So fun, great instructors, and very very inexpensive! A unique experience for anyone, be it locals, Minn-ah-soh-tans from afar, or int'l tourists seeing beautiful Monticello and all it's glory ---- tossing some hatchets at a bullseye on wood, is GOOD CLEAN FUN! (AND LIKELY A STRESS RELIEF!!) Because it's close to the bowling alley / arcade, and located inside a movie theatre, (with 3 different old school pinball machines 100 feet away) it's a great activity to try out, even if you're unsure of liking it --- give it a try. Great idea for a date, for birthdays, or family fun. Then check out a movie, or, go down the street to bowl, and/or enjoy the arcade at River City Extreme! Our instructor was very good at throwing axes, and gave us the basics without leaving us feeling intimidated because, well
... it isn't easy to nail the bullseye with an axe. But it sure IS FUN! Axes provided, obviously, and only $10/person for a half hour. That was enough time for my BF and I to finish 3 games. That's pretty reasonable, if not downright cheap. ? Tip that gentleman who shows you the ropes. Or, should I say... the wooden-handled blade. ?

Okay, feels very unsafe, staff will hurry you for pics when you get bullseyes , but at least they are close to the theatre’s bar and concessions

Terrible experience!! We have been here many times before & always had a great time until yesterday. We had a party of 5 for my mothers birthday & Gabe was our Axe Master, he went over the rules & then explained that we would be keeping our own score on the tablet as he walked away to "attend to another party".. it was after 6pm and the place was slow, everyone had already been checked in and in their designated areas, he instead went to hangout at the front desk area with another buddy/employee. When my husband went up to the bar to get his 2nd beer the bartender wouldn't serve him. Mind you he had 1 beer prior to this & was given no reasoning by the bartender who was freshly 21 with very little experience. When asked to speak with the manager she only gave us attitude. We have many friends and family in the service industry & have never seen anything like this. Poor work ethic by the staff whom all appeared to be very young adults with no management around to overlook employees or customers. I hope no one else has to experience this, we will not be back & will be bringing our business elsewhere!

First time and it was great! The workers are great are teaching how to throw and getting you positioned to be as accurate as possible. Will definitely be back!
