“We hosted a corporate luncheon at Warehouse Winery & the space was perfect for our group. We loved the eclectic design of the space and that we could partition off different areas for different needs, from a gathering area to the dining space. The AV equipment onsite was just right for our presentation and the venue manager was really easy to work with and accommodating to our last-minute needs. I would be concerned with parking if we had more than 50 people, but for our group there were enough spaces available along the street and businesses to fit.”

“I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked VR playtime for my son, but we had a great time! The overall vibe of the place was fun, and the employees were very nice and helpful. Yeah, we could just play on a VR headset in our basement but it was more communal and fun being at REM5.I was also surprised that our food was quite good! Since this place is first and foremost a VR playground, I expected the food to be barely passing. Instead, everything was pretty solid! We had waffle fries, mini donuts, and pizza. If you want to try out VR or have a fun night with friends, your kids, your coworkers... I'd definitely hit this place up!”

“I stopped in to buy a couple of gift and had a phenomenal experience. The store is set up for tasting many different flavors of oil and vinegar. Then, if you want to buy a bottle(or 5), the staff will fill up a bottle for you right there and package it. My personal favorite was the dark chocolate vinaigrette - it blows my mind that balsamic vinegar can taste like that. There's no going back to normal store bought vinaigrettes after you've been here!”

“I attended a workshop here recently. You must sign up online ahead of time bc each project includes specifically created stencils. It was a lot of fun! There were several high school employees who I thought were very helpful. I'd call the experience creativity light. You don't get to make too many choices...but also you dont have to make too many choices!! Sometimes that is the type of craftiness I want to do. At the end of the event you will have a nice crafty piece to display, or give away. And, you won't have to clean up at all. Of note, everyone at the studio stood at large high top work tables. If you have someone in your group who doesnt want to stand for the entire time, you should ask about accommodations.”

“We had our 25th Anniversary Celebration over the weekend on Lake Minnetonka & it was absolutely perfect! We were also married w/ Paradise Cruises so that is why it seemed the best fit to have it here once again! Captain Matt & Paige took extra care of us, my family & friends. To make it extra special, right before we were going to board, Dave, the owner of Paradise Charter Cruises, introduced himself to me & congratulated us. Now, that in my mind was truly special & something we will never forget! Thanks again for an amazing day! We all had an incredible time aboard the Paradise Princess II! We can’t wait to come back for another cruise on the water!”

“Wow stunning course that is a lot of fun to play. Food was great and service even better. Trying to figure out if there was a deal on ugly teal patio umbrellas as there were a lot of them as they are ugly….i think this is funny not annoying…great course and community hopefully I get invited back!”

“Meat raffle on Fridays and Saturdays! Stay on your toes because they are exciting and go by quick! This VFW is always busy so get there early if you're going with a group.Food is about what you'd expect from a busy bar. Table service always seems understaffed, but they do a good job keeping up. My favorite is the pub Mac and cheese. It's just one of those perfect comfort meals. The flat breads are pretty good too. Big enough to share.”

“For the most part, the rooms are quite nice and clean. However, I'm not sure how recently the HVAC has been cleaned - my allergies flared up like crazy throughout the night in the room, and I hadn't dealt with this issue in a long time. Looking at a few other reviews, I've seen this as a complaint before. This hotel has a solid location in Bloomington. Complementary parking was a huge plus on the positive. However, the parking lot was slippery even though it hadn't snowed recently - I'd recommend they become more conscientious of this by using grit and/or ice melt more frequently throughout the parking lot to prevent customers from slipping during the winter months. Staff was decent - answered most of my questions as needed and were friendly. This was the first time I'd stayed at this location while in Bloomington, as I've stayed at two other locations here. I'd rank this hotel in the middle of the pack of the three I've stayed at. I'd say 4-stars is appropriate for this location.”

“Everyone at metroConnections has been professional, thorough, and efficient. Two years ago, our group enjoyed several outstanding tours put together by Renee Splittgerber and Linda Johnson. Tour guide Doug Kline impressed everyone with his knowledge of the area and its history, as well as his ability to present the info in an interesting way. When our group decided to return to the Twin Cities for this year's reunion, we didn't hesitate to contact Renee and Linda. We asked for Doug to guide our tours and were thrilled that he was available, along with our Gray Line driver from two years ago, Stuart Ring, who was also available for one of the tours. Well ahead of both reunions, Renee provided excellent descriptions of each tour, including photos and prices, for prospective attendees. Linda kept us informed about deadlines and numbers of people who were registering. All the tours were outstanding. All motor coaches were clean and comfortable. All drivers, escorts, and guides were friendly and helpful. Our group especially enjoyed Doug. We highly recommend metroConnections!”

“We wanted Chinese food on Thanksgiving, well they were closed. So we thought let's go to the BC. Nick was working and they had the BEST turkey dinner we have ever had at a bar/restaurant. So much food and so good. I suggest, if they have it again next year, GO you will not be disappointed. And they had it for to go orders also. And yes you got a piece of pumpkin pie.GREAT JOB BC LEGION ON YOUR TURKEY DINNER.”

“Location was great. Downtown was about 20-25 minutes away, there were a ton of shopping outlets and restaurants about 10 minutes west of the hotel.

The first room I was given was dirty, I talked to the front desk and they were able to get me moved over to a clean room. My room was cleaned daily”

“Bowlero corporate refuses to allow the local location to perform refunds and the corporate line is closed on Sundays.

Only option is to email corporate and ask for forgiveness and a new date. I'm now required to follow up during their business hours to receive a refund of my commited money in the amount of $219.25.

Incredibly frustrated and mad that now I have to jump through a bunch of hoops and fill out forms and make calls for such a simple thing.

Another quick note is that this was unneeded because there's always lanes open on Sunday when I came in. I just wanted to make the experience for my guests more seamless.

Updated on June 3rd 2024: I have since been helped by Katherine B at the back office who gave me a one time courtesy refund which I will not expect again in the future. I appreciate this compromise and the politeness and helpfulness of the front desk employee, the manager who I talked to in store, and Katherine B at the back office who helped me.

I will be sure to be back in the next month but this leaves me less stressed about managing a voucher or having to reschedule with 6 people a date in the next month. I'll be sure to plan better for my party in the future and I appreciate the courtesy here.”

“This was a great place to stay for a mid-week getaway for Spring Break. It is nice that it had separate sleep quarters from eating area. I enjoyed the pool and spa area. The bonus was the delicious breakfast which was included with the stay. On certain weeknights they also included dinner. I would definitely recommend.”

“Location is great. Staff was super nice.. hotel is clean. No dust bunnies in the corners.. windows and mirrors are fingerprint free. Smells clean... BUTthe hallway noise levels can be an issue.. maintenance needs to check and repair the seals around the door jams or make sure the doors are properly aligned or both ?”

“2 room suite:Issues/poor observations:-Chosen for having EV chargers - They weren't turned on and the front desk did not know how to turn them on. They finally turned them on at 7am which was a bit late for an overnight charge.-Some rooms face the interstate and would be a bit louder noise levels (our room was not this way)-AC is extremely loud and could not sleep with it on. Even turned off there was an air sound like a white noise machine on medium, at least I could sleep, but again, not quiet.-Ceilings are medium height yet the showers are installed at the lower point in the wall so anyone over 5'5" is ducking to get under the water.Quality items:Clean rooms/grounds - well kept courtyardGreat breakfast selection and quality. (See pictures for details)They are renovating but none of the renovations caused any inconveniences or annoyances.I did not use the pool or fitness center. The location is convenient.Overall nowhere near the level of what they charge for rooms at this time.Rooms: Clean, watch out for loud AC.Noteworthy details: Has EV charging if they know how to turn it on.”

“Booked a room here through Expedia that was supposed to have a patio. When we got to our room it did not have a patio. We called down to the front desk and they were able to switch our room, and also brought a new key up to us and helped us move our luggage to the new room. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! This was also during the time when they had an influx of an additional 90 guests due to flights being canceled at MSP. They stayed calm and accommodating. Our room was large and gorgeous and our private patio was nice, could use a little updating.

Rooms: We had a patio suite with a pull out couch. The room was super spacious and provided us everything we needed. We will be going again and booking that room with an adjoining room for my birthday celebration.”

“I've been staying here Mon-Fri for the past 4-5 weeks for a project nearby. The rooms are decent I only have one complaint. The shower curtain rods are curved and the genius that installed them has them pointing down so that the curtain immediately slides towards the center. Not just a little bit either, there's like 2 feet on either side of the curtain where water splashes all over the floor. Every room I've stayed in has had this same problem. It would be relatively cheap and easy to fix compared to a lawsuit when someone slips on the resulting puddle or the water seeps into the walls or floor.Otherwise, it's a great place to stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the internet is pretty fast for a hotel, and the price has been cheap compared to other cities.”

“Every time I stay at the Sheraton, I am impressed by the staff. This last visit, they went above and beyond to give my husband and I a memorable anniversary stay. We received a surprise room upgrade and other personal, thoughtful touches. (Thank you, Katherine!) We stayed over the weekend, so the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the Sheraton Club lounge with the fancy coffee maker and sparkling water, and all of the comfortable furniture in our suite. We booked the dining package and dined at Lela restaurant both nights. My husband and I were warmly welcomed and attended to by the staff. The food was delicious, too. This is a hotel we return to again and again, because we are always made to feel special. Thank you.Rooms: The beds and chaise lounges are very comfortable.Food & drinks: Lela restaurant has excellent food and drink and the best service. The Sheraton Club has a nice coffee maker and well-stocked beverage cooler.”

“Wonderful employees. Checking in went smooth and breakfast crew were super kind and helpful. Was very busy upon check in but line moved fast. Lots of food options and plenty places to shop in area. Only downside is pool has special hours which we didn't know upon reserving room. Had to switch days last minute thankfully before they got booked up. Pool is only open on weekends and not Sundays after 12p. Much higher price while charging card than previously said on website. Was an additional $100 than previously shown on their website when they swiped my card. Definitely check the fine print and expect to pay over $300. Does include breakfast though and rooms were spotless.”

“Fantastic time! Great music played all night, great service from both front counter and our bar staff. Our homie, Gunner, helped make it awesome letting us finish out our last two frames of our game with our birthday party package. Also keeping our belonging safe during laser tag, we truly appreciate you. He made our night extra special and amazing, he deserve a raise fo sho. #bestcustomerserviceeverLoved that our event package was so simple to set up and loved that they put the party name up on the lanes. Making it so easy to find our group! Highly recommended setting up a package deal for your next gathering(s)!!!”

“Just there for a day conference as a PCA for my client, but there are many issues. First, the handicap accessibility is lacking on the public restrooms; doors are heavy and weighted to close, no handicap door openers. Plus, the restrooms are too small to easily maneuver a wheelchair around in and safely access the handicap stall. As my client had other friends staying at the hotel, we found out that handicap rooms are furthest from the conference rooms and closer to the pool area. This poses a problem for those without a motorized mobility device to get to the events they want because of distance. When I brought up my concerns to the management, I was informed that the hotel was built in 1983, so it wouldn't have to have those features. I found this to be a poor excuse for not upgrading to meet ADA requirements.”
