We were just passing through and needed our Sprinter van checked out for some "stuttering". We were able to get an appointment right after Labor day weekend. Preston was super knowledgeable and nailed the issue just from my admittedly poor description. They had us fixed up and on the way in a matter of hours. Highly recommend.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!Thanks to the service "experts" at Sears Imported Autos, I write this review stranded on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin - literally staring out at fields of corn and other crops (there's probably a cheese chalet somewhere in the distance).Short-story: after claiming to have fixed my car and charging me $4,009.38, it turns out that Sears completely botched the repair job. My vehicle now has to be towed 3 hours to Chicago because it broke down on the highway (less than 24 hours after I picked it up from Sears) DUE TO THE SAME ISSUE SEARS CLAIMS TO HAVE RESOLVED.Long-story: I was passing through Minneapolis when my car stopped shifting gears. An alert reading "MALFUNCTION" in bright yellow letters flashed on the dashboard. No bueno.Sears was the nearest Mercedes Benz Service Center (MBSC) and they accommodated me right away. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had just paid for my car to be towed to my local MBSC in Chicago (shame on me for trying to save a buck).Sears worked on my car for approximately 26 days to resolve a transmission-related issue, during which time they repeatedly informed me that they did not know how to fix my car without the guidance of a corporate-level Mercedes engineer. Sears was kind enough to provide me with a 2017 loaner during this time, and when they notified me that my car was FINALLY ready, I was THRILLED.I drove 6 hours back to Minnesota from Chicago and when I arrived at Sears - AFTER paying the $4,009.38 bill - I was told that the "check engine" light as well as a dashboard alert that read "Auxiliary Battery Malfunction" had juuuust turned on as my car was being driven up from their back lot.Check this out: the auxiliary battery and components were working perfectly when I dropped my vehicle off, so it seemed clear to me that during their almost 1 month-long-attempted repair, Sears technicians inadvertently drained the auxiliary battery to the point that it needed to be replaced. Service Manager Nick Amor refused to replace the aux battery on goodwill because "the aux battery is a wear item" (thereby conceding that the aux battery was worn out while my car was in Sears' exclusive custody). Sears provided me with both verbal and written assurances that my car was completely safe to drive without replacing the aux battery, so I decided to drive my car home, where I planned to have my local MBSC replace the battery (and send the invoice to Sears). In addition to draining the aux battery, Sears damaged the interior paneling and did also managed to mess up the electric-drive functionality (the vehicle's top selling point). But wait, there's more:I made it about halfway back to Chicago when my car stopped shifting gears and displayed a heart-warmingly familiar "MALFUNCTION" alert in bright yellow letters (thus resuming the issue for which I originally engaged Sears' services). Naturally, I was PISSED. I immediately called Sears' General Manager Michael Roeder, who insisted that he couldn't opine as to what could possibly have gone wrong since he didn't "have all the facts" - perhaps he thought I had nothing better to do than to waste my time lying to him. Michael Roeder then flat-out refused to assist me with having my car towed to Chicago and passed the buck to Mercedes roadside assistance, which only tows up to 20 miles. After much begging and pleading, I convinced Michael Roeder's subordinate Nick Amor to insubordinately agree to pay for my car to be towed back to Chicago. This business runs about as effectively and efficiently as my car: not at all.(To be continued...)Side notes:1. Nick initially insisted that my car be towed back to Sears - which completely blew my mind. He would have had a far better chance at asking me to volunteer my SSN.2. I repeatedly (like 5 times in 26 days) requested a trade-in quote, but they never provided me with one.3. Adding insult to injury, they didn't even bother to wash my car.4. I'

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the folks at Sears Imported Autos. My primary contact was Boris in Sales and Justin in Finance. I was buying from out of state and therefore could not view the car in person, but Boris provided additional photos and descriptions that made me feel comfortable with my purchase. And, since the care required some work before it could ship, he kept me informed of the progress and always responded to my texts or calls immediately. When the vehicle was ready he came in on his day off to make sure it was loaded onto the carrier. You can't ask for more than that. Justin and his team made sure that the paperwork portion went smoothly and effortlessly. Whether you are local or out of state, I highly recommend this team and dealership.

I had the transmission service done at 58,000 miles on 12/15/2020. Recently, I was informed about a transmission leak. I took it back to Sears to address the issue, but they stated that since it has been over 2 years since the last transmission service, it would not be covered by the warranty, and I would have to pay for the repairs. Typically, the transmission service should be performed every 60,000 miles, but their previous service did not last more than 17,000 miles. I declined their offer for repair and will have it fixed elsewhere.

Top notch and most efficient delivery experience! I could have been in and out in 30 minutes but had to do my due diligence and inspect the car and its features. Justin, my sales rep, was instrumental in helping me keep my wifes new suv all a surprise. He was very knowledgeable about the car and even included a large red bow to elevate the husband of the year factor! Id definitely reccomend Sears to anyone in the market for a new car!

My last purchase from Sears. The Sprinter team could literally give a rip if you purchase from them or not. They will not budge on pricing so if you are buying a Sprinter go out of Minnesota. I did not have the time to drive the van back to MN but found much better deals in Chicago and LA. Sears should know that the market will turn and customers have long memories. Next time I will buy a van from people who actually want to do business with me. Calls not returned. Good luck getting past the receptionist. My last Mercedes was from Feldman in Bloomington - they get five stars - Feldman is a great dealership! Unfortunately, they do not sell Sprinters. My advice: go out of Minnesota to buy your Sprinter, or buy a Ford Transit. You don't need the grief. As another reviewer said, "Sears, you're fired".

If you want to feel that you are buying more than a car but also want to feel an experience of feeling special, this is the place. The car drive I felt like I was in a car commercial.

This is a review of the experience I had with Sears Imported Autos. We dealt with Setnu and Finance manager Jason. I must begin by saying that I am a remote customer 1200+ miles from the dealer nor the easiest customer. Though they were quite firm on pricing, they did try their best to accommodate our budget though it was a rare vehicle. Nevertheless, they made our out-of-state purchase as an active duty military a pleasant one.First, they are extremely keen at following up; the most commendable quality of a dealership especially for an out-of-state purchase. Jason, in particular, updated us almost daily with the paperwork/loan process; he was clear about his work hours and is always available if we had any questions. He responded to all our emails/calls either immediately or shortly after finishing with his prior customer. We despise any dealerships that leaves us hanging (our #1 pet peeve) and they aced this part. Jason is also a previous military (Army) member!Secondly, they are appreciative of our assistance with titling/registration paperwork. We've purchased vehicles from 5+ different states including California, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, Colorado and are well versed in the process. Jason was knowledgeable and willing to admit when he did not know the process; this is admirable because we have dealt a dealer who said they have "15 years of experience" but really did not know anything about the registration process in our State. Sears/Jason handled my paperwork efficiently; titles mailed on-time with the rest of the registration paperwork while I'm deployed using an out-of-state address.Lastly, they communicated immediately after the vehicle was picked up by the shipper and provided us information as well as the estimated arrival date. Some dealers may tell you "we can't guarantee a ship date" and leave you hanging. We are not asking for the exact ship date; we know it can be variable (plus or minus days) depending on weather and how many vehicles the shipper is transporting. We simply want to know the approximate date so we can plan ahead. They did very well on the final part. This is by far the best out-of-state vehicle purchase experience we've had. Again, we would like to reiterate how well Jason handled the transaction. Setnu was also very communicative as well and we enjoyed working with him. Overall a great experience. We will definitely come back to purchase another car if opportunities arise. Keep up the good work Jason, Setnu, and Sears Imported!
