Wow! I stopped in to Samaritan last Friday just to inquire about tires on my vehicle (an older Corvette) and see if they were in need of balancing or replacement. I was helped by Zack and then Chris (the owner). I never felt like they tried to sell me on new tires, but gave me options of tires and pros/cons to balancing vs new tires. Chris, Zack, and Frank were all great. Chris took his time with me and when I decided on new tires, he even offered to get the new tires on right then and have it back in a short amount of time. Since I wasn't prepared to leave my car, they offered me a loaner car and then called me back right when they said that it would be done. The prices were very fair, and the customer service was top notch. I'm glad that I was recommended by my mechanic, and a friend, to stop in to Samaritan and I will be a repeat customer for sure.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) on my Porsche 911 Turbo registered an error and I brought it to the dealer to get the issue diagnosed and and estimate for repairs. The issue turned out to be that one or more of the TPMS sensor batteries died after 15 years of operation and the remedy was that all sensors should be replaced. After seeing the dealers estimate to repair, I decided to find an alternative (cheaper) provider. Having some experience with a large well known tire supplier, I visited them to determine if they could replace the inoperative TPMS sensors. They indicated they could, and after trying two different sensors I decided it was time to try another alternative. In all fairness, replacement of the Porsche TPMS sensors can be problematic unless using the Porsche OEM sensors. So I called a local Porsche and euro car garage and they recommended a full service tire company called Samaritan Tire. I called Samaritan Tire in Minnetonka and talked with a pleasant and knowledgeable service writer named Blake. I overviewed the issues I was having getting the sensors replaced AND WORKING, and Blake indicated that they have replaced TPMS sensors on a variety of Porsche vehicles with success. So the next day I drove out and met with Blake and Chris (the owner) and re-explained the issues and the team once again reaffirmed their ability to get the system working – so I authorized the work. I note that Samaritan’s facilities are very modern with several lifts and tire replacement/balancing systems. The work was started within 30 minutes of my arriving, and I was able to peer into the garage area every so often to see how the work was progressing ( I was relieved to see the care that was being applied to the repair of my vehicle by the technician). I was tired of sitting in the large waiting room by myself so I ventured out and was able to chat with Blake and some of the other service writers while my vehicle was being repaired. I found them to be very congenial and knowledgeable. After about an hour and a half, the vehicle was ready for the test ride (I also noticed that Blake had applied tire dressing to the tires, a nice touch), and Chris, the owner took it out to ensure the system was operational. In ten minutes he returned indicating all sensors were working and transmitting.
In summary, I was very pleased with the services provided by Samaritan Tire. As I indicated, the tire replacement equipment is state of the art, the facilities are clean and nice, the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to servicing your vehicle carefully the first time. For these reasons, I would recommend the use of Samaritan Tire for all your tire needs without reservation. Samaritan Tire has two locations, one in Edina and the other in Minnetonka.

Samaritan rocks. I have been using them for years, my son goes there also. I don't know how many times Frank has helped us out with tires, vandalism repairs, matching existing tires and the prices are competitive. This place is always busy because they offer great customer service and quality work! Highly recommend and I'm very critical of shops.

Bought rims through these guys 2 years ago had them put a leveling kit in my Ram for front and back. The guy I spoke with very helpful and polite, they did mess up the install they forgot to tighten some bolts and had some bad rattling but I brought it back they fixed it so I felt good about working with them. I called them tonight to have them do an install on my new GMC for the same type of leveling kit. The guy on the phone was extremely argumentative. We were talking price I informed him I had 3 quotes that were a little lower for the same job but I’d prefer going through them as I live near by. He wasn’t willing to match their price or the price I paid for the first level install they did. I probably would have paid the higher price for the convenience had the guy at least tried to work with me and not be rude. For sure not the way to run a business. Unless, of course, you don’t need return customers.

Went in yesterday for tires and alignment. As with all tire shops right now they are VERY Busy. I showed up early and they got me in right away and completed the work well under the estimated time frame they told me. Very professional, highly recommended!

5 stars for these guys! Brought my car in the morning for 4 new tires and on a tight schedule…Zach was kind enough to have the car ready within a couple of hours!! Great service and great pricing without any surprises! Definitely recommend!
