Minnetonka Animal Hospital is by and far one of the best veterinary clinics I have gone to in the nearly 50 years I have had pets. Every staff member is personable, friendly, works hard to resolve issues, and listens well. I just recently made the change to them and drive from south Minneapolis for their exceptional treatment and integrated services. My dog is so well taken care of there.

Everyone was incredibly nice from the front desk staff to the medical staff. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They even called to check in a few days later to see how my cat was doing after her visit. I’ve been to a lot of different veterinary clinics but I will certainly be returning regularly to this one.

The doctors and staff at Minnetonka Animal Hospital were kind, professional, and well informed, and my appointment was handled in a timely manner. I really appreciate the integrative approach to healthcare for my dog so I know he's getting the best care. I appreciated the follow up text message the next day too! I wish they were closer (I'm two hours away) or had another clinic in my area, as I would definitely be a regular there. Thank you for the excellent service, and my dog Hawken says thank you also!

It is wonderful that there is an animal clinic that cares for little pets too, like our guinea pigs. Not all clinics do. We appreciate the loving care that they give these little ones.

Our diabetic cat had a medical emergency while I was in out of state leaving my wife to deal with this situation alone. Our regular vet was understaffed and could not help. We called up Minnetonka Animal Hospital because they were the closest to our house. They said that we could bring him in.
When we got in the door, they started treating him immediately. They prioritized his health over filling out paperwork and were able to get his blood sugar back up and food in his belly.
Unfortunately, his blood sugar crashed again and the damage to him was just too much. At that point, they explained the facts to us we’re prepared to help us if we decided to continue treatment, and most importantly helped us decide that it was time to let it go. They explained everything over the phone so that my wife and I could make the decision together and they went out of their way to show sympathy and kindness after his death.
They embodied everything that you could possibly want of a vet in a situation like that. We are so blessed that they were there to give our cat a chance at life and that they took care of everyone when it was time to let him go.

Editing to add:I got a 60mL meloxidyl from a different AAHA vet clinic for $85, Minnetonka charged me $92 for a 30mL bottle of the same thing, same manufacturer too. You guys are a scam!!To pet owners: please read reviews as I should have!Great care and service while you're there. But good luck getting a prescription through anyone but them, which is online through a separate system/ 3rd party. They refused to fax a prescription for my pet while I am traveling for work. In addition, they refused an option to physically pick up the perscription at the clinic. They offered no options to pick up the medication at the clinic, which makes no sense. They also offered no good explanation of why they wouldn't fax other than "we don't work with 3rd party pharmacies", which their system is a 3rd party.They also stated they would follow up in 3 weeks after the initial appointment, but I had to call them after they didn't reach out to renew the needed perscription.I now have to schedule my pet an appointment at another clinic to get needed care and medication.Minnetonka Animal Hospital should be ashamed of themselves for carelessly leaving pets in pain.

Wow, these guys BLEW ME AWAY. I've had guinea pigs for a few years and I've had to deal with a handful of vets and these guys were by far the best to work with. They truly cared about my little guy and were extremely honest and helpful. I felt like all of my concerns were taken seriously and addressed in the room. I feel confident bringing my piggy back for his upcoming procedure and with any future issues.

My favorite vet I have ever been to. The doctors and nurses make you feel like you and your animals are family. They take amazing care of my rabbits. So lucky to have them as my veterinarian! Thank you Minnetonka Animal Hospital for taking care of us!

My dog had her tail smashed in a door. It was a very bloody event. This clinic was the only one close to me that would take her in so late in the day. There was one vet technician named Kelly. She was an absolute miracle working on not only calming the dog down, but me as well. Kelly, the offer of Pizza and a beer stands. If you want to bring a friend/partner, please do. I have been going to MAH for over 7 years. At first I thought the cost was quite high. My puppy mill rescue dogs have had more difficult dentals and surgeries. The support and kindness I have received with dogs in foster care and adopted dogs, has made my rescue endeavor a positive experience. One of my Yorkies fell of the bed during the night. She was unable to walk as her legs on the right side would not work. She would simply topple over. She did not appear to be in pain. Dr Leilani made a trip into the office on her day off to provide chiropractic care to my dog. When we left the office my Yorkie was walking normally. I could give you other instances of their caring procedures my dogs have received but just know that MAH cares thoughtfully for my dogs. I cannot recommend them enough.
