Waited in line for several minutes to use the self checkout, which double scanned my item. I then waited 5 minutes for assistance after pressing the “need help” button. Finally, I ended up asking for help, and was told that only managers can do that function and they’d call her up. I waited another 8 minutes before having to interrupt , and asking them to call the manager again, before they finally took me down to the only open manual register to check out. The checkout lane is also much too small to support the self checkouts, and people physically could not make it past other customers to check out or leave the store. Every customer in line with me also experienced issues with the self checkout machines, or waited more than 10 minutes to be able to make a return or pay with cash. I understand that the company is trying to save money but it is making the shopping experience itself miserable, and clearly is rough on the employees. The associates were kind, but obviously stretched too thin and without the authority to really help anyone. Overall the checkout experience took more than half an hour from start to finish. No hate to the associates, they did the best they could to help me under the circumstances, as literally everyone needed their help and was constantly interrupting their transactions, which slowed the line down even more. Truly a wild experience.

It's Michaels. On a good day, the people who work here are undertrained and 16. So yes, the customer service is not out the door. And their curbside pick up is actually come and ask for help service. Oh well. It's a bunch of craft supplies. That's why youre here. Too many stupid sales and coupons might make you wonder if youre ever getting the best price or if you're a sucker but at least you doing something crazy with your life and not supporting other companies that suck so much worse.

My daughter is now 16 but when she was two and she was a little bored she would say Joannes? Michael's? We went there a lot! I haven't been there in a few years, got out of the scrapbooking habit, but needed some card stock to make some handmade cards so I went back in. Managed to spend $40 on one trip and $60 on another trip, got excited about maybe making some handmade cards again, maybe scrapbooking my daughters first 18 years. It is as I remembered it, every kind of craft you could want, I usually only ever go to the paper craft, scrapbooking, I did also buy frames for my kids' school pictures. The coupons are all online now but I did get 20% off my entire purchase, even though there are lots of good deals including the stickers I bought were only $.50. If you're stuck at home and looking to do a little crafting, stop in!

I had a very bad experience..... I waited 20 min in line to see if they received my UPS. They didn't. There was some tension between the manager and I. I came up for two days, and still they did not have my item from UPS. It is an access point for UPS. UPS leaves items for me here. Guess what? UPS has missed placed my item. Even though I waited in line twice two days apart, the line was moving ever time. People are buying many things. People were happy. No drama. The manager was very helpful both times. There was a petite lady who is not young who was moving things heavier than her just to look for my package. So nice of her. Lost my package but gained confidence in Michael's.

I love Michaels so much, but the last several times the line to check out and been insane. And if you place an online order, which is advertised as being ready same day, won't even be ready in a week's time. It's such a bummer but my business has gone elsewhere because it takes me half a day to get in and out.

Five stars for selection, one star for prices. Never pay full price at Michael's. They mark everything up so they can bring it down to a reasonable price when they put it on sale or you use one of their coupons. Pro tip: coupons are usually good for only one item, so bring your friends and have them buy your stuff for you. With discounts of 30 to 40 per cent, you could even give them a commission for helping you out.

Looking very organized, I think it's under new management because it was looking a little grungy a while back. All the employees I walked by asked if they could help me. I just needed some new colored pens for a little art I was working on and they had a very decent collection. Overall I liked the store.

This review is my 500th of 2019. It's nice to cap it off with this review. I never thought that I would be writing so much this year! I checked out this Michaels after stuffing my face with good eats at the Olive Garden in the same plaza. There is tons of parking. I needed some thread to sew my purse. I found some! Normally, I get so lost in Michaels that I give up. I was so proud that I found what I needed. Every time I walk into this store, it makes me want to learn how to knit or crochet. I get inspired until I look at how much all the tools, instruction books, and yarn cost. I am determined to learn how to do both. Christmas items are 70% off at this store. Not shabby at all! The woman cashing me out was nice. I paid with a credit card. All went well. I liked visiting this store. I'd return when I'm in the area. Happy 2020, everyone! (500)

There's always something interesting to find in an arts and crafts store. Today I was searching for winter themed stickers for a project and alas came away empty handed. Don't get me wrong, there were options, just none that worked for my needs. Employees were present but none asked if we needed help - I like the offer of help even if I on a look and see shopping trip. You'll find art supplies, silk flowers, scrapbooking, home decor, seasonal items, frames and framing services. If you're on the mailing list you'll receive coupons and deals from the corporate office to save money. You should have no trouble being creative with the items they carry or by taking a class.

One of the better Michael's locations. Things are usually organized and stocked. The employees at this location are very pleasant and helpful. Took off a star because sometimes things are incorrectly labeled or there's so many signs for sales it's confusing!

Just waited in line 10 minutes to check out. When I left, 8 people in back of me. Poorly staffed - no customer service! Amazon next time.

Crafts, crafts, and more crafts! This store overwhelms me, however I seem to spend my fair share of money here. The staff is nice and helpful when you can track them down. My daughter received a knitting kit, and even after I read the directions I still had NO idea how to do it! Michaels has classes you can sign up for and learn how to use the kit! She is a whiz now! That is a nice service! I like the 40% off one item coupon, it also aggravates me when you cannot not use it on the popular items. The prices are fair and they do have good deals. They also have a large selection of rainbow loom stuff... Seriously how much can rubber bands cost? ALOT! Lol!
