Refused to give me a refund for return with receipts. They said since it was over 5 dollars they cannot give me refund back to my original payment? And store credit was given… crazy.
Maybe they should let customers know about this POLICY. Ridiculous.

The store is huge and well-stocked. Not enough employees in the front though. Only one lady was doing everything so it was really slow.

BEWARE before purchasing any sewing machines from this store. The Tuesday before Christmas, I ran into the store to grab a quick last minute sewing machine for a gift. I was able to find the sewing machine I was looking for and it was not locked up so I grabbed it and paid for it. Later that night, I found out someone had already purchased the same sewing machine so I had my husband return it with receipt the very next day morning. We were charged a $25 restocking fee which is absolutely ludicrous. $25 to take the sewing machine 100ft back to the shelf. I did not know this policy and was not informed until my husband tried to return the machine and was shown the policy on the receipt. I reached out to customer service, had several emails back and forth only to receive the final email stating the $25 restocking fee as policy. I plan to bring my future business anywhere else as I'm still baffled that the $100 sewing machine purchase resulted in a $25 loss for me.

Absolutely lovely, kind and patient staff! However, corporate has clearly not supported them at all. Hotter in the store than outside on a 75 degree day due to lack of air conditioning and staff seemed incredibly overworked for the customer to staff ratio. Jo-Ann corporate: do better!

Waited in line for about 5 minutes while the cashier was doing a return which is fine but when asked to have someone come up to ring up customers the lady said to her coworker in earshot of customers that we were getting antsy and needed service she was still doing returns when we left. As someone who works in customer service myself it was completely unacceptable to say stuff about customers who are waiting to pay. She was being unprofessional.

Did a curbside pick up here. Order was perfect. You have to be to get them to bring it out, but it worked well overall.

Fabrics in Joann are a little expensive. Otherwise my wife was planning to source from here.
