She is incredible when it comes to matching the financing with the buyers need and helping the buyer understand different options that best fits their needs before they go shopping for a home. I can't say enough about how good her team of professionals are that do the processing. They are consistent on getting everything done on time for closing, in fact many times everything is ready to close at least 2 weeks before the closing date and it doesn't seem to matter how complicated the file might be, they still get it done. I cannot recommend Erin and her team enough! I was connected with her through my financial advisory, Mark Zoril. My family and I were needing an approval for a mortgage to buy a house. Her communication was incredibly thorough, detailed, kind and honest. I felt like she always had my best interest in mind every step of the way. Her attention to detail was incredible, offering advice on things I never would've noticed! What makes my experience with her even more valuable is that she helped us while we were living in Prague, Czech Republic. Navigating a 7 hour time zone difference and never actually meeting face to face, she helped us every step of the way without a hitch! If I could, she'd get 6 stars out of 5. Erin at Alerus was great to work with. Very knowledgeable. She was willing to answer questions at all hours and was always helpful. She was very personable as well! Having a mortgage company that guarantees your financing is a big deal to sellers and gives you, the buyer, an upper hand. I appreciated the donation to a charity in our name after closing as well. Caring about the community is a big thing! Working with Alerus went very smoothly form beginning to end.

Buying a home can add stressful nights to your sleep if you don't have a supportive lender. Erin is an amazing human being who serves from her heart when my husband and I were buying a home sweet home in Downtown Duluth. She went way beyond our expectations; reminding us on what to watch out for, educating us on what we didn't think to look for/ask, alerting us when she wasn't available and lining up her team to support us in her absence. We were taken care of with professionalism and friendliness. Erin serves people around the country (I had some reservation, originally, working with someone who doesn't live in the town I do - she delivers, big time!). It doesn't matter where you are located, Erin is your person when it comes to buying a home. Be prepared to be amazed!

I was in the full-time residential real estate business for 36 years. After many disappointing experiences with numerous mortgage bankers and loan officers from many different lenders on either side of a transaction, Erin came into the picture. She handled more clients for me and other Realtors than I can remember. Her level of expertise and her detailed knowledge of loan options was beyond belief.
