I signed up thinking that there is a location available based on Google, Google Map, Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc just to name a few. Then only to found out that the location has not been unavailable for a long time upon being approved. The customer service staff was very unhelpful and said that their company is not affiliated with any of those advertising sites listed above, therefore nothing can be done. I find that laughable and uneducated, and the business practice is irresponsible and scam-like. Those above sites are nationwide companies that offer free of use for advertising, whereas Zipcar is also a nationwide company who takes that advantage to advertise yet does not keep the consistency of what they're advertising, but just to cheat money off customers. What a shame. I wasted two days waiting to be approved and $25 for an application that was useless and misled to begin with. What upsets me the most is that the company does not want to take any responsibility for their lack of keeping the most updated and corrected info for their customers. AVOID! SCAM!Isn't it a scam that your company does not want to be responsible of what's being put out there.. especially for such a renowned site like Google Map?

Unfortunately, it just takes one person to sour what would have otherwise been a positive review. We've lived here for almost a year, and what a year it's been (for everybody...everywhere...#2020). Downtown Minneapolis has been hit hard by COVID and the value of living in an expensive townhome with a front door opening on to a city park is declining right now (and has been an unprecedented safety concern in recent months). We know that the city we love will bounce back to a "new normal" and we wanted to ride the wave at One Ten Grant. We suggested an 18-month renewal with an initial rent decrease - that was a no-go (no big deal...had to show our commitment to stay and try for a reduction, right?). When we discovered our neighbors in a nicer, more expensive, townhome had been offered a $200 monthly rent reduction plus a 13-month lease with one free month, we did the obvious....we asked for the same discount. A fair request to get through this nightmare of a year together. Not only was the property manager (James) late on his response times, he waited until after our cutoff date to submit our notice to vacate had expired to respond....he essentially played out the clock on us. We just wanted to know if they would give us the same discount that was being applied to our neighbor. We respected the deadline to notify them of our decision to vacate, they opted to not confirm our options until after the deadline had passed...essentially forcing our hand to exercise the one option that made sense (we weren't going to renew at full price knowing the deals being struck for a more expensive unit next door). This has tarnished an otherwise good experience. The property is well maintained, Angela (our leasing agent) has been nothing but professional, Deb (concierge) is the nicest person you can ask for, maintenance is burdened with a lot of work...but when they do show up, they're professional. Any minor issues you'll have at any big property are manageable....but apparently, when you catch them in the dealmaking that happens from one unit to another and ask them for a comparable offer, it can get ugly.In all likelihood, you'll never experience anything like this....unless another pandemic and period of civil unrest awaits you in the near future.

I reached out to ask more details about the apartments . I personally thought Angela was fast and efficient. She responded to most of my questions very fast via email . The only change I would make is making sure to answer all my questions . I believe I asked three times about what current specials the property had and my question was ignored. It was constantly reiterated that electric , rent and parking was the only utilities I would have to pay . Most buildings do have specials right now and I would be a fool not to take advantage of that . I wouldn't have to ask if rental information was transparently available on the website . Thanks

Not a regular reviewer, but my experiences have been so terrible that I felt compelled to publicly describe it. So, to be fair, some pros: Zipcar is located nearby Stanford student housing, making it (theoretically) convenient to hop into a car and "zip" to where you need to go, for a relatively ok price. But the Cons... On one occasion, they switched vehicles on me with almost no warning. The worst experience was when the car simply was not available. Called customer service, and they were absolutely not helpful. Waited for nearly 40 minutes. I was in charge of dropping people off at the airport and had reserved a van. No van in sight. Customer service did not help at all, and said they would refund the reservation and credit a couple hours of driving credit... which was ridiculous. By the way: no refund seen. Nobody reaching out to check in and make it right. The system just does not work if they cannot guarantee cars will be available when they say they will be. It's a failing business model, and unless you want to be changing your plans midway and working through massive headaches, AVOID ZIPCAR. Stick with Lyft or Uber or whatever, but Zipcar is just ridiculous.

This is an overdue review from my time at One Ten Grant from Mar 2016 to Mar 2017. From the application to the final walk through, the leasing team was a pleasure to work with. While I lived there, I loved my apartment! It was a huge 1-bedroom with beautiful wood floors. The apartment was quiet and never had issues with noise. The gym was small and a bit outdated, but did it's job well for a good cardio session. Also, loved the sauna as well. Front desk staff was always helpful- from what I remember, they were 24/7. If I ever move back to Minneapolis, I will definitely consider moving back here.

Zipcar sucks. Cars are filthy and gross and customer service is even worse. I requested a refund for my membership fee and was declined. Avoid
