My geriatric dog wandered off today after escaping our gate at home and the employees here not only rescued him, but also fed and housed him while they tried to track us down. One of their lovely employees then drove 30 minutes after closing to come meet us, so that he wouldn’t have to spend the night there. Amazing place and beyond incredible, caring staff!!

My cat Gracie is 18 yrs old and was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Dr. Hanson and the entire staff have been great with her and she's thriving. Her plan of care has been great. They're all so friendly and compassionate.

Came for a ortho surg consult, so dealt with surgeon and clinic staff and Dr. Most of the staff was really nice and pet my pet and seemed really interested and friendly. My dog actually took treats from 2 people at the vet, which he has literally never done in 10 years. First was from a front desk staff person, but I don't remember her name! My dog took treats from her and got pets and kept going back to her.
Then he also took treats from the surgeon (Dr. Hamel)...which s crazy to me because he normally doesn't even like men if I'm around and just never takes treats in a stressful situation. There was one vet tech that came in to draw blood that I felt wasn't very friendly or interactive but the one that came with her was nice enough, though I don't feel like she was listening to my pets airway when holding for blood and this was causing some extra distress that wasn't needed. Overall though, I still give 5 stars because the holder for the blood draw was doing her job, she doesn't know if a dog is going to move at a critical point. So just communication is a big thing.
I also really liked Dr Perry. He was very informative and left a very detailed message about the blood work.
I think the pricing could be better but that's more just about everywhere.

We have 8 cats. Because we are insane crazy people. Westgate I'd pur new vet clinic for pur herd of special needs kitties. They always do right by us, they put up with me coming late to appointments (I know it makes their scheduling challenging and I apologize, they are really the best.)
Anyone with cats especially should consider making this clinic your clinic.

I bring my kitten, Monkey, here and they have been nothing but wonderful. Dr. Dahl and the vet tech I’ve worked with (whose name I cannot remember for the life of me) have been so friendly and comprehensive in their care. I was provided a lot of informational pamphlets after my first visit which have been awesome for learning more about caring for my little guy. Monkey is my first pet of my own and I really feel at peace knowing he’s getting such great care. Hopefully I never have to come here for anything other than routine/preventative care, but if I do, I know Monkey is in good hands.

I had a major problem with my dog. I was in seeing Dr. Mirodone that day and my dog was really in a bad way. She recommended taking her to the emergency Vet Clinic in Lake Elmo, so I went directly there. The big problem was the following week I went in for my appointment with her and the tech came out and told me she wasn't in today. I really had a feeling she was lying about it. I guess when things got tough, she didn't want to see my dog anymore. Needless to say we never went back.
