Such a unique and great store! Highlight is that pretty much everything you can imagine is sold loose/in bulk, from fresh fruits and vegetables to grains, beans, spices, flours/sugars, nuts and seeds, oils, and even soy sauce and maple syrup! And to top it off, the prices of buying loose/in bulk from here tend to be cheaper than buying a pre-packaged equivalent from pretty much any store, not to mention the bulk section at competitors (Whole Foods, cough cough). Take one example: The organic cinnamon at Trader Joe's was $4 or $5 when I bought it originally, but now when I take that same small jar and refill it at the Wedge with their equivalent, it's ~$1.50. And I get to save a container from getting tossed. Hard to beat!

Never have I been to a grocery store with such grumpy, pretentious employees. Not one person will crack a smile or even say thank you. Don’t waste your time and money here. Find another co op with better management.

I went here for the first time yesterday and I instantly felt the FOMO of not shopping here sooner. I feel so much relief shopping at a co-op and not some corporation with no public interest. PLUS you can buy in bulk here which I fully intend on utilizing. The vibe here is not like a grocery store it’s better it’s more cozy, welcoming, and personable. I’m grateful to have finally stopped by— especially because I picked up a HUGE cinnamon roll that was 12/10. Will be back (:

Usually I have a great experience here, I live a minute away so I go here a lot, but seeing employees talking about customers when they are still in the store is just unprofessional and distasteful, especially in a co-op.I’m a 22yr old girl and these info help desk employees had to be in their late 30s and 50s. I’m disgusted and disappointed that people in that age, at a place of work think it’s appropriate to gossip, do it on your own time and don’t bring that childish behavior to work. You want caring and respectful people at the front of store, maybe they would be better off in the back where they can express their catty behavior all they want. I just don’t understand people these days.Definitely won’t be going back, prices aren’t so great anyways.

4.5 stars actual - 5 without the higher prices. Money could have been saved if they didn't remodel so much (every time I have gone in there - not often - it's a totally different store).

If you're going through Uptown, you need to stop here. The Wedge I consider one of the highlights of Lyndale into downtown! The vibe is great, the veggies, herbs and spices are fresh, and the fresh food they prepare at both the food bar and the aisle next to it are incredible; I grab lunch here with my partner all the time. The rest of their selection, though, is nothing to scoff at; premium organic products all around.Their program is worth joining as well to get permanent discounts, and they make accommodations for income restrictions such as SSI.You've got a lot to take home from this place, and if you stay long enough you will! Don't be a stranger and come by the Wedge!

Best neighborhood co op! I love the location, the staff are always kind and helpful. Their bulk food selection is great, and I love all the fresh local cheeses! Fresh produce is great. The prices are on the higher side but that is to be expected for the high quality of their items! I also love their prepared foods/meals. I take anyone who comes to visit me from out of state here, and they have all loved it.

Love the variety of organic produce. It's nice to not have to look at ingredients. I trust their meat department as well. You pay a bit more, but for quality, great prices. Love having lunch and a bit of shopping at the Wedge.

They removed the plexiglass barriers because customers were complaining about the cashiers not being able to hear them. I understand that this is an inconvenient, but you know what's a bigger inconvenience? Your lungs collapsing, or becoming permanently or temporarily disabled! The cashier really won't be able to hear you from your respirator!

I am disheartened by the awful, abrasive attitude of the infoDesk lady. I have lived in the neighborhood for 9years and I work at a restaurant. I rushed over when service was done, spend loads on an Uber and when I got there, there were guests still in the store checking out. I asked if I could please get 1 can of tuna as I just ubered to make it there in time. It was 9:59. The lady behind the counter just screamed “Nope!” So rude. I spend so much money and time supporting this place and employees like that just make it feel like any other Whole Foods soulless corporation. Time to find a new co-op with a staff that at least pretends to care a little.
