Really disappointed when I went in for Claritin and they couldn’t provide it because the pharmacist wasn’t working. Claritin is OTC, so it should be available on Sundays. Allergies don’t stop when the pharmacist is off duty! Also, they don’t have bathrooms. Go over to the Lake Street target if you need Claritin and a bathroom :)

Today I was pleasantly surprised to find a very polite and helpful young man in the aisles who could unlock the hand lotion cabinet and also point me in the right direction for other items. And it was only his 3rd day on the job. This location has had its share of troubles, so I'm glad to see improvement!

I'm generally a fan of the new rebuilt Walgreens. They deserve a lot of credit for sticking it out in the area after the riots, and even establishing a portable pharmacy to meet the needs of local residents!
I did have an issue recently with an Rx not being ready when it should have been, but the pharmacist apologized to me over the phone and in person, even taking the time to sit down with me in their waiting area so I could tell him what had happened so that he could work to make sure it wouldn't happen again. He also issued me $10 in store credit for the inconvenience! And just this week my doctor inadvertently sent my Rx to a different Walgreens on Lake Street, and the staff at that store was quick to work with me to get the Rx transferred over to this store, and they promptly filled it.
I like the selection of other items available in the store, although some of the food items can be a bit pricey compared to Target just down the road, but then again, you're paying for the convenience.
My only true complaint involves the signs on every shelf that says to press the button if you need customer service, but I've never found one of the actual buttons! It's like a "Where's Waldo?" search... I'll look again when I go to the store later today!

I noticed there were a few negative reviews regarding delayed prescriptions and long wait times. Personally, I haven't faced these issues as I use the Walgreens app. Through the app, you can track and request medications, receiving notifications when they're ready for pickup. If a medication is out of stock, you can inquire about the next shipment or check with other Walgreens. Hope this is helpful C:

Sometimes there’s no music in there and it weirds me out. One time two cashiers were chatting while a line of 5+ was the responsibility of the third cashier. No gatorlyte in the fridge.

This Walgreens offers a comprehensive selection of both over-the-counter medications and daily essentials. The layout is intuitively organized, ensuring ease of navigation. Staff members consistently demonstrate professionalism and are readily available to offer assistance when needed. They do have security at the front door which are either some guy that’s bored eternally doomscrolling on his phone or a wannabe Rambo decked out for combat. Prices are what you’d expect.

Don't let the shiny, new construction building fool you. Walgreens is still a terrible company! You can tell they don't treat their employees well because they always seem overworked and understaff. And as a consequence, their staff is rude to customers and service suffers. I avoid going to Walgreens at all costs because I know their employees don't care about customers.

Google says it’s open till 10pm on Saturday. Drove there at 9pm. Sign on door says it’s open till 10pm…..not open. Completely unreliable.

Had a meditation I needed but wasn’t ready a hour after it was sent. Then came back and had the drive up closed due to “staffing issues “ so I decided to get it in the am and they don’t even open until 9 am! I’m beyond annoyed.
