Infuriatingly undependable service. I was on the phone for over half an hour, with the bot telling me ,"We're sorry. All our staff is busy attending other customers. Please stay on the line...... There are more than 3 customers ahead of you." So I drove over to the store, only to find out, per a notice on the closed pharmacy curtain, that the pharmacy had closed at 1:30 and would not reopen until tomorrow morning. This is after I had long-standing prescriptions "pending" refill all week, with notification today that the refills had been magically cancelled. One of these prescriptions cannot be stopped. This is not the first time - it's just the final straw. I will go elsewhere.

They used to be a good pharmacyNow i have to call them for every single medication fill or refill for one reason or another. Usually it is that they just are not getting to it.I have had to wait up to 2 weeks to get necessary medications filled. They only tell me that they are so busy. Then they need to do something about that! Id they are getting that much business surely they can afford to hire more staff!!!!!!!! Plus half the time they do not answer the phone. After over 30 years with walgreens i am transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacyWalgreens is horrible. Especially the walgreens on 26th and central in northeast minneapolis.

They never update the online tracker or answer the phone. I can't even get my meds delivered if they are the store filling the order

Please, read the other reviews before you decide to use this pharmacy. I’ve been a customer here for 4 years thinking their terrible service is normal and waiting for it to improve, but it only gets worse. They lose prescriptions doctors send over. They NEVER answer the phone, and the automated prescription refill service is a joke. You will never get your medication on time, they will give partial refills when doctors order full, and they will let you run out of important prescriptions by refusing to respond or fill them in a timely manner. The pharmacists are rude, uninformed, understaffed. It seems to be a magnet for those who barely made it through training. I am transferring all my services to CVS, and this pharmacy is apparently infamous with other pharmacies for being unresponsive and not allowing transfers over the phone. They need to be shut down with a new pharmacy replacing it to benefit the community.

The employees I've dealt with seem to generally be hard working and all around pretty cool people, but this place is so damn understaffed that I've been unable to get my prescription filled for the past four days. Nobody answers the phone and when they do they hang up on me.

Heed the warnings. Do not use this pharmacy. Every experience is somehow worse than the last.

Do Not send your prescriptions here! This location has the worst pharmacy/pharmacy customer service. They are never in-sync with their voice service, prescriptions are never ready when they're supposed to be which is the next day, when you try to pick up your prescription you are met with attitude from the pharmacist at the counter as if you are the inconvenience for getting your prescription here. Apparently there's only one actual pharmacist here that can do anything and it seems they're completely overwhelmed. It's better to send your prescriptions somewhere else.

The worst Walgreens in Minnesota. Pharmacy line always got 10 people waiting for a hour + & the pharmacy technicians are selective on having the drive thru window open.

Incredibly slow. Worst pharmacy

This should be your absolute last option to get prescriptions filled. If you call, expect to be on hold for a minimum of an hour. Picking up prescriptions is usually an hour wait standing in line. Drive thru is never open. They won’t fill your prescription unless you call to get them to look at their system. Sometimes they randomly cancel your prescription fill after waiting 3 days.

Literally go ANYWHERE else. If your medication is important to you, do not use this Walgreens. If you call, you'll wait 40+ minutes to talk to anyone. If you leave a note about your medication, they won't read it. If you go in person, they won't care about the problems they've caused. Both me and my fiancé have run into multiple problems and they've caused lapses in our medications more than once. Stay away!

It would be super convenient as it's just a few blocks from my house, but at no point in the last two months has the line for the pharmacy been less than a 30 minute wait no matter what time of day I go. Tried to pick up the same prescription 4 times now and have had to leave because the line was too long.

They won’t answer their phone. They wont even start filling your prescription unless you show up in person. Since they’re so understaffed the line is usually LONG AND SLOW. Then it takes another 30+ minutes for them to fill. It’s gotten absolutely ridiculous, I’ve been using this pharmacy for 6 years and I can’t stand it anymore. Do NOT send your prescriptions here.

Awful pharmacy experience. Prescriptions sent in do not get filled unless you go in and specifically request they be filled (if I didn’t need it why would my doctor have sent it in?). This is not an exaggeration- this was actually explained to me by staff - they do not fill prescriptions unless specifically requested to.Also, you are essentially required to go in person since they never answer the phone. So, if you have a digitally sent prescription plan two trips to get it filled.Seems like this location has been redlined and understaffed by corporate since it is not in an affluent enough neighborhood to matter to them.

Despite the bad reviews, I still decided to use this pharmacy because of its convenient location. Wish I hadn’t—seems chronically understaffed. Service is terribly slow and prescriptions usually aren’t ready even after getting alerts that they are. They don’t answer the phone, so going in-person is the only way to talk to someone. Once, they misplaced my prescription and couldn’t find it. Most recently, I put in for a refill through the automated system. After radio silence for a week or more, I decided to investigate. Turns out the pharmacy has temporarily closed. No message, alert, call-back, or anything to tell me that I wouldn’t be getting my prescription. Disappointing!Update: I have been trying to move my prescription to a non-Walgreens pharmacy. After a week of trying, the new pharmacy said that no one at this Walgreens location had answered the phone or responded to them, so they canceled my transfer. I tried to call the store, but hold times are 1+ hours. I called a general customer service line and they transferred me to their "direct" line, but the number is not staffed evenings/weekends when most people with full-time jobs are able to call... Will be thrilled to be done with Walgreens!
