Currently stuck in a lease after two break ins in one week where I asked for help from (Saturday Properties our management) and instead of help they sent me a copy of my lease to remind me that they aren’t responsible for break ins in the building or in our apartments even when they have doors that aren’t working properly if anyone comes in they won’t help investigate or share camera footage even when there’s multiple break ins and multiple damaged property and peoples things. We aren’t safe in our common areas or garages that we pay 150 dollars for each month. I’m from the Northside so crime doesn’t shock me. It’s the blatant disregard for people’s safety and management accountability that disturbs me about this place. I turned in a rent escrow form to the property manager recently asking them to fix these problems and fix their camera policy to be supportive to their customers/tenants but they sent me an email from a lawyer instead saying that they will only fix the door (which is taking over a week) and aren’t required to answer questions about the shifts of their “ Security workers ” or camera footage policy and procedures. I wish I never would’ve moved here. They are over charging for the worst services. Wish I would’ve believed the bad reviews before I moved here but they reel you in with the fast application and two month rent free promotions that you only get if you make the decision to move here within 24 hours of seeing it.

I don’t live here, but my car was robbed last night, and some of my belongings were dumped at this apartment. The nighttime security guard was nice enough to call me, leave me a voice message, and meet me at 4 AM to collect what was left in my belongings. He didn’t owe me anything as I am not a resident, but made such an awful situation a little bit better. I cannot thank him enough : )

The apartment building is truly stunning, with fantastic amenities. It's a great place for hosting guests, and it's conveniently located within walking distance of everything you need. Our top-floor corner apartment had an ideal layout, with equally-sized bedrooms perfect for roommates and windows in three directions with a stellar view of downtown. Toni, the manager, and the responsive maintenance team made our experience a good one. However, there were a few undisclosed details that we wished we knew before applying. Firstly, there's an additional charge for common area electricity, on top of your apartment's electricity cost. The pet fee for cats isn't a flat $300; it's $500 if you have a second cat, which was only revealed in the move-in dues breakdown. Additionally, only one household member receives a free LA Fitness gym membership due to the lack of an on-site gym. Thankfully, the property manager granted us a second one due to miscommunication with the leasing temp at the time. The building faces some challenges due to its location, but this isn't a management issue. It's essential for anyone moving to a new apartment to research the neighborhood for safety and not assume that management is responsible for security. Nonetheless, the 24/7 security provides peace of mind.Overall, the building met our expectations. Its unique and Las Vegas-inspired design makes it a standout in Minneapolis. The hot tub and pool are impressive, all your friends will want to come over. You won’t find another apartment that looks like The Walkway in Minneapolis. I moved closer to work, but I would rent here again.

Have been here less than a month and so far it is what was expected, laid back but professional. Angelica and Toni are easy to talk with and access when needed. The cleanliness and scent of our community is pleasant and makes me smile when i walk to my apartment! Worth the price. Quiet most of the time, feels like home.

It's overpriced. My unit is a one bedroom one bath, but there aren't any real doors in the whole place except one that goes from bedroom to kitchen. But otherwise there's no windows in the "bedroom" it's basically an alcove. It was filthy when I first ran a swiffer mop over the floors in the living room it was black. Also, someone left their razor holder glued onto the tile in the shower, that is so gross makes me want to puke tbh. That does not make it feel clean and disinfected. 24 hour security is straight up BS. One guy walks thru like once a night and that's it. If you have an emergency it's nearly impossible to get in touch with someone and they are located like out of state. There has been out of control noise, pool parties needing shut down by the police, the "secured" garage can be entered by anyone. There are syringes and foil right outside the front door every single day. Dogs that bark constantly. Multiple shootings in my neighborhood within a 5 min walk radius like I think 8 of them in this month of October. Several have been fatal. Several have been on lake and girard or lagoon and Fremont Ave. I am still waiting on my maintenance request to be fulfilled. Can't see into my closet due to no natural light and no light bulbs. Appliances are cheap. Its unsafe, overpriced, and management is rude

I loved living at The Walkway. I’ve lived in many apartment buildings, and their new management team is by far the best I’ve had. They’re highly responsive, keep things clean, and go above and beyond to improve each resident’s experience. Rent and parking are expensive everywhere. Why not choose the place with a pool, hot tub and a FREE membership to LA Fitness right across the street?

Just signed my second year lease. Management and maintenance are very responsive. Only had 2 very small issues this past year & both were fixed within 24 hours. I have never felt unsafe living here and love the walkability to great restaurants, places to hang out & grocery shopping. The pool & hot tub are a plus!

My negative review I posted about a month ago got removed. And what a coincidence! Right after my bad review got removed, a bunch of back - to - back fake 5 star reviews get posted! And none of these got removed! How crazy is that?! ????Look at the review history. Select 'newest'. You will see how obviously fake and paid the fake 5 star reviews are.
