When I think of Marriot i instantly think about how all staff are focused on customer service with pride, but NOT HERE...so let me start with my sister is a TITANIUM member. With that being said since we're flying to Texas today we called before hand and she spoke with an employee that stated 4pm check out is totally fine and reinstated that she should be able to utilize her membership perks. Great so we choose Delta Marriot, everything was fine until 1134pm (26 minutes from midnight) and told her that she needs to provide another credit card on file (I used my card! Victor M) and noticed that the charge for the room was still pending, and they attempted over 4 transactions so my card locked, I understand that I charged more than 20$ which is the incidental hold but to be told to pay ANOTHER 118$ BALANCE AFTER MY FIRST BALANCE BEING HELD STILL then threatening us to pay another FULL BALANCE, "OR ELSE YAL HAVE TO LEAVE", instead of contacting us in the morning at a reasonable time, upset we didn't answer the phone call she figured it was best to pound on the door at midnight demanding another payment. So I had to call my man and tell him to drive back with my wallet I left in his car so I can submit another payment for my sister. I asked why do I need to submit a new payment when the first one is still being held on file? She couldn't give me a valid reason and then told me I had to cover my charges I billed to the room for the food I ordered. I hope someone reminds them that them customer service is the embodiment that makes Marriot a house hold name that's better than the rest. Very disappointing that the manager out of all people doubled down and had even worst customer service by stating it was a hassle getting the payment so that's why she won't allow a 4pm checkout?? We submitted 2 payments and we're told to leave at 1pm and when asked to speak to the GM of course the lady sent her to someone else.... Had to ask someone else to finally transfer her to the GM, still waiting to see how the GM handles this.1) Didn't want to upgrade the room2) didn't want to honor the original agreement of 4pm checkout3) demanded a second payment at midnight like a TITANIUM member wouldn't pay?4) threatened to kick us out at midnight ...I won't talk about how the small rooms are smaller than a Baymont hotel or how the bathroom is looking like an efficiency apartments bathroom. I'm bothered by the lack of customer service.Sad they wouldn't even attempt to find middle ground, I'll never tell anyone to go here ever again.Victor MNoteworthy details: Staff was very disrespectful and the manager was worst. This isn't a Marriot that stands on customer service. If you book here hopefully they aren't in a bad mood, and be ready to pay for your room twice.

We stopped going to hotels near the university because of the hefty parking premium. The Delta is only a few minutes distant from the university and Dinky town if you're visiting a student there, and the Delta is a much more comfortable hotel.Delta is our go-to hotel in Minneapolis.

Does anybody else get a static shock when they touch the elevator, room door, or any other metal material here? It's very odd and after 3 days of this I can't feel my finger rips lol

The hotel is in a great location. Hotel and staff were both very nice. Rooms were nice and clean! Loved the Starbucks inside the hotel. We ate supper at the restaurant and food was delicious. Bar had a great selection. The salt water pool was very nice and water was warm.

We stayed at the Delta after going to a Vikings game. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They provided information about nearby attractions and gave recommendations when asked. Hotel was very clean. The atmosphere was fun and friendly and staff engaged with the game goers, asking lots of questions and making everyone feel at home. The hotel also provided a free shuttle to and from the game which was very much appreciated. The rooms were mediocre and on the small side. But beds were comfortable and hotel quiet at night.

We recently got married and had the pleasure to work with Jocelyn and Victor at Delta Hotels on rooms block, pop-up bridal suite, and rehearsal dinner as part of our wedding planning, given our venue was only 10 minutes away from the hotel. They are very friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with throughout the whole planning process, top notch customer service! We couldn’t have planned our wedding so smoothly without their support! The hotel is centrally located with chic/modern decor and everything we were looking for, especially the executive suite which was perfect for our bridal party to get ready in. We and our guests all had a great time staying at the hotel. We highly recommend Delta Hotels to anyone who is planning for a wedding or looking for a place to stay!

I had a lovely stay here. The room was clean and ready upon check in. My room was very close to other amenities like the fitness center and the pool area. The bed was VERY comfortable. There was also a desk included which would have been very helpful had I brought my work with me.Small things also made my stay very enjoyable, like the availability of hydration stations in the hallway and ease of getting to the Tavern located next door. There is also a garden like area outside where you can sit and visit with people.I also enjoyed how easy the hotel was to get to from 35, or conversely how easily it was to get around town from Delta. Have already recommended to other friends and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very well done, it is obviously an older building, but very well updated. The amenities were nice. The front desk people were more or less helpful, but mostly worried about their own phones and things like that. Overall I would stay again.

Rooms and beds are great but checking in was slow even on a Monday afternoon. Room was not ready until 530p. Only put 1set of towels in the room. I expected a little bit more attention to detail from a Marriott

Beautiful hotel. Pretty decor to look at. Large t.v. very quiet. The only problem we had was we had only 1 bath towel with a room with 2 queen beds. The bed was also a bit to firm (for me) but I will always be thankful for a place to sleep. Thankyou ♡

I stayed at the Delta this past weekend and everything about this hotel sucked. Terrible customer service and when we got to our room, the sheets were MOLDY. Asked for new sheets and got 1 new pair, they were even worse. Wouldn’t recommend staying here if going to a concert or anything. Customer service was awful because they wouldn’t talk to us or ask us what was wrong with the sheets after requesting new ones AGAIN. Do not stay here or waste your money.Rooms: Room was ok, sheets were awful.

They have a pretty good restaurant, Twin Cities 400. Nice broasted chicken take-out deal. Had happy hour wings, lower price ($9) but few wings (5). Not impressed
