Seeking New Repair Shop
I have been a customer of Quality Coaches for around twenty years. I have been recommending Quality Coaches to friends and neighbors over all of those twenty-odd years. I will be giving a different recommendation from now on. Any business that does not return repeated calls, especially from a long time customer, does not deserve any business.
Recently, when my spouse’s 2019 model year german car needed the front brakes done, of course I called Quality Coaches. It’s where I’ve come to know the customer service and repair work to be impeccable. At quarter past eight in the morning, I called and left a detailed message on their voicemail. At ten, I still had not her from them. I called again and they had received my message. I was told that the person who works on, “modern cars”, would be showing up for work in about an hour.
Quality Coaches’ website states, “All Makes, All Models From classic to modern we have you covered”. Evidently they, “have you covered”, only part time for, “modern”, cars. When it got to be eleven-thirty and still no call, I found another repair shop and took the car there.
It is now four-thirty P.M and still no call from Quality Coaches. Obviously at this point, I don’t expect there will be one. If a service person can forget to return a call, how can I trust them to not forget a small but crucial part in a repair?

First thing I do after receiving my (new to me) 1962 MGA was to contact Mark at Quality Coaches and schedule time (next day!) for him to go through it. I leave town for the holiday and after consistent and thorough communication I come home and pick up my refurbished ride. Exhaust, shocks, minor tuning, and restoration of the fuel tank and sending unit. Everything I wanted was expertly restored with original parts. I’m really happy!

Having attended a number of John Twist's weekend events in past years, I decided to bring my MGB to this year's May 4-5, 2024 event. My car developed U-joint problems and became an urgent repair situation to get me 200 miles back home. Mark at Quality Coaches had a used driveshaft and John rebuilt it for me and got me on the road headed for home. I only paid for parts to have an MG guru repair my car! Always a great weekend with John Twist, Mark's shop and all the other attendees. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Quality Coaches for years. With every repair, they tell me what they are doing, what it will cost, and why it costs that much. They do their best to save me money while still maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
If there is a problem they're not equipped to handle, they refer me to another shop who can help. Their referrals are equally conscientious.
This week, the hinges on my rear window went out. I called them in a bit of a panic, since they would have been closed by the time I was able to get there. They said that they would wait for me, and they did. They ordered the parts, which came the next day. The car was fixed within 24 hours.

I bought a Jeep Trailhawk from a dealer and the sunroof leaked after first car wash. The dealer said they have a company in cities that specialize in sunroofs and that they will take it there to get fixed. This shop is a joke!!! 3 weeks of keeping my jeep and 3 sunroofs later I got the jeep back to find out the sunroof still leaks, the headliner is covered in greasy hand prints all around the sunroof opening. And boot tracks everywhere.. They clearly don’t care about the customer or know what they are doing.. On top of that they charged the dealership for the 3 sunroofs when clearly the tech didn’t have a clue about sunroofs..Who does this?? I wouldn’t trust this shop to fix my kids bike!!

While they did replace the water pump and find the exhaust leak, the repair left more work for me and took entirely too long. I made an appointment and the car sat for 4 weeks before it was looked at, then sat for 4 more before repairs were started. I picked it up 9 weeks - 1 day from when it was dropped off. I park my car in the garage, so there are no bird droppings on it. There were when I picked it up! When they changed the exhaust gasket on the drivers side, it loosened the dipstick tube. I cannot even drive my car until I figure out how to fix it. I would take it back, but I don't have another 9 weeks to wait.Do not expect to get good customer service. And it will cost you. I have never been pleasantly surprised at a bill from them. They can probably fix your car though. They must be interested in more expensive cars than I have, but it is hard to find a place to get a 30 year old car worked on.

Very disappointed, I scheduled an appointment way in advance with Quality Coaches in early summer 2022, to bring in my 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. They kept my car for several weeks and never finished the job. They were meant to upgrade the instrument panel and install the dashboard. To avoid any damages, I provided them specific instructions on how to install it. I specifically told them to remove the steering wheel and front seat when working under the dash. They called me weeks later to come pick up my car, and sure enough, the wipers button was disconnected. They also scratched up my freshly painted dash frame and left a large boot scuff mark on the inside of my door. They clearly did not follow my directions. The job appeared to have been rushed and thrown together in a hurry. After picking it up, I called twice and never received a response. I did get the opportunity to talk with the scheduler, who was rude and condescending. I have yet to hear back from them. Now this shop was recommended to me by one of their regular customers and I don't doubt that they are a good mechanic shop, but when it comes down to classic and fragile parts, this is not the place for you.

I got a flat tire outside of their building RIGHT as they were closing. Even though they were done for the day, they offered to move my car and get me new tires the next morning—and the next day, it was done before lunch! Such king, efficient and affordable people. I was so, SO grateful!Service: Tires

Quality Coaches rebuilt two two barrel carburetors, repaired the wiring to the coil and rebuilt the brake cylinders on my 1940 Ford. The quality of work is exceptional and the customer service reminds me of the service I received many years ago, just incredible. Thanks Matt!It is no wonder that they are celebrating fifty years of restoring peoples dreams. Thank you Mark.CharlieServices: Brakes
