Bone Marche
3777 Park Center Blvd, MinneapolisBest pet store around! I was so excited to finally try a new pet store and one that's more of a small business. I'm SO impressed! I had questions regarding raw/ freeze-dried food with cats/dogs. Linda was extremely helpful in proving all the information I needed to feel comfortable about what I was feeding my fur babies. $70 of stuff actually got much better stuff than you would get at a petco or a petsmart. All the staff there is beyond friendly. This will now be my normal pet store!

Foxy Dogs
5460 Nicollet Ave, MinneapolisI've moved around a lot and have two cavaliers, so naturally I've been to countless groomers and I have an idea of what to expect when it comes to the dogs' cuts and wash. Foxy Dogs blew my expectations out of the water. It has been a few days since their grooming, and my dogs are still softer than ever before and smell heavenly! To say nothing of the exceptional cut they received. Gizmo didn't want to leave when it came time to go - I think that reflects how well they are treated! I will never be able to settle for another groomer! Thank you Foxy Dogs!!

Prices are astonishingly reasonable for high-quality work and you won’t work with someone nicer. After years with Donita, I’m so grateful for her kindness and care. Best Friends Animal Hospital
8094 Morgan Cir S, MinneapolisWe came to this vet after our other vet clinic moved. We are over the moon on this clinic and found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable! They are able to share information in a way that it doesn’t become too over whelming as well as not pressure you in to any type of care that isn’t absolutely necessary. The clinic has apps and texting ability that keeps communication open and convenient and they are very sweet to our dogs that have come in. I love it here!
- Superb59 Reviews4.9

Kenwood Pet Clinic
2107 Penn Ave S, MinneapolisThis was our second time at this clinic. The clinic is clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We were greeted promptly and roomed right away. The tech (Colleen) was thorough and easy to talk to. Dr. Torino made sure we knew what he was doing and what he was looking for. Lab results and our cat's diagnosis came the next morning along with recommended care and treatment options. We received the actual lab report via email - something our last vet didn't do. We've been kept well informed every step of the way. We're very happy here! The cat--not so happy but she's not driving or paying the bills.

Vet Partners Minneapolis
1030 Washington Ave S, MinneapolisI've taken my cat here for three annual exams/vaccines, and once for an emergency lab. Every time I've been there, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The prices feel fair to me (the annual exam for one cat including a 1 year rabies shot is ~$130 bucks, though your price may be different, I don't know how that stuff works). The vets and techs are really great. Side note, if you have a cat that gets stressed out at the vet, ask your provider if you can pick up a gabapentin for them the day before the appointment; that helped my cat feel calm and comfortable, and I didn't know that was an option until I talked to the vet at Vet Partners :)

Pet Sitting & Training

Wonder Dog Canine Club
9730 Irving Ave S, MinneapolisBest dog day care ever!!! We had our senior dog (pitbull mix) there for 3 days and 2 nights and he was so well taken care of! He lived better than I did at the hotel. He had a breakfast muffin, private suite, played with the other dogs, PB Kong, calming chew and so much love. There were a ton more add ons you can do too. The staff is AMAZING!!! seriously could not be better!!! Will absolutely be back and 100% recommend every single time. Super cute, family owned and so much love for each fur baby. So so much recommend!!!

Now Boarding
6002 S 28th Ave, MinneapolisI frequently use Now Boarding to doggy sit my two pups. The entryway is always staffed with smiling staff and perfect customer service. It's always clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. The staff even provide a report card nearly every time my dogs go and spend time there and it's reasssuring that although they have many dogs that come, they manage to observe and remember mine!Every time they go, they are absolutely pooped on the way home and I crack up thinking how much fun it must be for them to run around and socialize than to stay at home and be stuck inside. Pricing went up just a smidge since the start of 2024 but nothing drastic and due to the range of services and happy dogs I bring home, I'm more than happy to pay their pricing for their kind and energetic staff and awesome services. 10/10 would recommend, even to use them for a few hours while running errands where you can't take your dogs.

Your Dog's Best Friend
225 Border Ave a, MinneapolisCannot recommend this company enough. I had the pleasure of working with Freddie to help ease my dog’s resource guarding and anxious aggression. I have tried multiple other dog trainers to no success, nobody seemed to understand the root of the issue and often suggested surface level fixes that never stuck or made things worse. First off, my dog is usually very standoffish towards men and I often warn people she won’t get near them for at least a few visits. Freddie had my dog hanging out calmly next to him within 15 minutes of meeting her. After two session Freddie had given me the knowledge and tools I needed to better communicate with my dog. I nearly cried multiple times during this process with how much relief I felt finally making progress and understanding my pup. We are seeing amazing progress every day and there is a huge stressful weight lifted from our household now that we feel properly equipped to talk to our dog in a way she understands and avoid aggressive situations. 1000 stars.

Red Cow North Loop
208 N 1st Ave, MinneapolisEdit: I finally dined there. The food was fantastic, my wife loved the onion rings and the careful service that we were given. Burgers were great. Coleslaw was actually refreshing, and not mayo dumped. Matt and his staff gave us a wonderful time on New Years Day. I will be back, with a bottle of heinz which is a small complaint.
Edit: The manager was very very prompt in responding to my email in resolving this year. In prompt it was less than about 30 minutes when I reached out via email. Which is actually, pretty darn impressive nowadays to take responsibility instead of passing the buck. They get five stars now.
I made Christmas reservations only to learn less than three days before Christmas that they weren't actually open. Their site allowed me to make a reservation. I called them to confirm if they were closed as I found out not from them at all. They did confirm it, and then laid blame on my insisuating that since they've never been open for Xmas, I should of known. Okay, then tell that to your reservation page.Pathetic service right before the holidays.
Even after I called and said it was taken down. It's still up allowing others to book a reservation. I hope there ain't some family that shows up expecting a reservation thay never should of been placed.

Arbeiter Brewing Company
3038 Minnehaha Ave, MinneapolisThis is another great place for trivia! We attended their Tuesday night trivia night and had a good time. Although the place was near packed there was still seating available (both high top and low top). Dogs were allowed inside which always adds to the fun! Their beers were reasonably priced and lines were reasonable throughout trivia. Our favorite brew was their self-titled Arbeiter! It was a bit challenging to hear the trivia at times due to the echo of the place but there's not too much that can be done about that, plus the questions were offered online as well. They offer some pretzels if you're feeling snacky and there is a large table of board games to borrow while you're there as well. Staff was friendly and the entry door had a bunch of local postings which were fun to read through - we love businesses supporting the community! Additionally, their bathroom set up is excellent - very clean, plenty of individual stalls, and a surprisingly good hand soap. We had a great time and will be back!

614 N 5th St, MinneapolisWonderful place! I had a speed dating event at a nearby brewery I won't mention the name of... been there before, and I knew the beer was incredibly "mid" as the kids would say. Stopped here to have a drink first. I had the Jupiter cider, and it was delicious! I also sat down and ordered a pizza from Little Tomato. You can scan a code to order and they will deliver it to your table. I loved the vibe of Number Twelve Cider. It was cute, not overly bright, not too noisy. Very relaxing to go alone or with friends. I will be back to sample more of the menu, because the offerings were all intriguing.
