Gas was nearly full, only two gallons less than when we picked up the car. For two gallons of gas they charged us almost $80.00. Posted price per gallon was $3.36.

The car had definitely seen better days both inside and out. The car connection to CarPlay did not work and the built in GPS was complete garbage. The staff was friendly, but the MSP location doesn’t allow after-hours drop-off? It’s 2024, what company doesn’t allow after hours drop-off now days at a major airport. Just know that using Payless you end up paying more. Lesson learned.

SCAM. i said im declining all the coverage and the representative said no problem just sign here and i was charged for literally everything extra. they wont do anything about it. not worth the price here folks it will be more than you wanted anyway. total scam and i feel like i was taken such advantage of being a girl in her late 20s. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. customer service to try to deal with this is a nightmare too.

Very poor customer service!! I needed roadside assistance. In a 3 hour period I called Payless 4 times. Each time I was connected to roadside service. Only 1 time did i get a response from RSS. I got a text saying they were trying to find someone in the area to assist me. After 3 hours I called AAA. Twice during the 3 hours I pressed 6 for manager and every time got reservations. I did talk to Eric a supervisor who also turfed my call to RSS. Reservationists kept telling me that maybe I should just drive the car to the drop off location for service. I told them repeatedly that the car was not drivable. Very poor customer service. I had a plane to catch. I will never use Payless again!

Returned a car to the wrong garage they said we couldn't leave. They said they would call the rental car company we had nothing to worry about that it wasn't a big deal. The car company later calls us and says they can't find the car. It takes them 2 weeks to find the car and they charge us $2,100 for a two-day car rental

If I could give this location zero stars, I would. It has taken over an hour to help 4 people with their reservations. There is only one agent trying to service Avis, Budget and Payless. Do not use.

DO NOT USE. This place that will double/overcharge charge you every chance they get.I rented a car here with a prepaid reservation. Didnt have what I had reserved but after 2 hours I did get a car. They did not let me see a copy of the rental contract or give me a receipt(though that was a legal requirement). Car had 3/4 of tank of gas.I returned it with 7/8th of a tank of gas. At drop off, again no contract or receipt, but I thought I was alright. However they charged me for a new reservation and for filling up the tank of gas!I've tried for weeks to work through their customer service help line but they just dont care. Every time it's a new person with a new understanding of why they had a mess up and how they can make it right, but then they never do. I've never seen a copy of the rental contract.DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE, rent elsewhere.

Make sure to keep proof and receipts when you fill the vehicle up before you drop it off. They charged me 150 for fuel even though I filled up five minutes away from the airport. Thankfully after calling and sending in my proof they refunded me but I still think it’s ridiculous they did it in the first place. The truck was nice and clean and I did get a good deal through Expedia so I can’t complain about that.
