Bright health has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been getting the run around for a refund for a payment that this company took from me about a year and a half ago. Now the customer service phone only takes voice messages that they never return.

$0 mental health plan because there are 0 in-network therapists and 0 ways to find therapy on your website. Calling for help? NOPE there are 0 representatives to take your call!I’m so tired of trash customer services from insurance companies. I pay thousands of dollars to bright health for health insurance I rarely use and getting ahold of a human being and getting a problem solved is literally impossible. There’s no excuse for that kind of disrespectful behavior. There shouldn’t be a 30 minute wait time to talk to a person. If I give my number to an automated system for a call back, it should happen… but it doesn’t.To whoever created your obnoxious automated system: I don’t need to hear about your neat new website five times before speaking to a person. It’s 2022. Believe me, if I could solve my issue without interacting with another human I would. Calling is a last resort. I’d way prefer email but there’s no email listed on the website.

Bright Health does several things well. 1) You can get support on the phone within a reasonable time and actually SPEAK to customer service. 2) If you are having an issue with a provider overcharging after a claim has been denied Bright Health customer support will stay on the line with you and contact the provider billing directly so everyone can talk on the same call so there is no back and forth regarding the status of the claim. I really appreciate this level of support. 3) They truly audit claims and actively look for overbilling which saved me out of pocket money. 4) Their website actually works. Don't underestimate the value of this. It saves time when you are looking for information. I highly recommend this insurance and their customer support is top notch.

Even though Bright Heath Care offers decent insurance, their CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST! I have been questioning a charge on my account since August 2022 and still no updates as of Feb 2023. When calling the customer service number, I am told over and over that my call will be escalated and sent to the appropriate department and that I will receive a call back within24 to 48 hours. I have never received a return call from them. The charge has now been sent to collections. No answers from Bright Health Care regarding this situation.

WARNING WARNING: This is the absolute WORST most unethical skanky "insurance" company. They refuse to pay ANY percentage on most medical procedures, playing games instead with discounts they force on doctors. My doctor said they don't pay the bills they do cover.AWFUL.

I have had the same issue that so many others have posted! I have tried for 6 months for Bright Health to pay for preventative services that their website shows are fully covered. They keep telling me that a 3rd party is reprocessing the claim.....for months! Now, I cant even get them to call back. Please avoid this unethical company!!

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Have had a claim in since June of 2022 and have called at least 15+ times. Nobody ever calls back.

Not great at all. The management is non existent and they provide little hand on training. Very arrogant recruiting member When I was going through the interview. They wasted my time and I dodged a bullet for not working there.

I am like others; if there was a zero rating available, this is what I would give this company. They sell you on their policies with a zero co-pay for the first visit to your healthcare provider and one specialist. I confirmed that the doctor specialist was in-network before my visit. I went in June. I received an EOB that said I owed the doctor $100.00 for the co-pay. I have sent multiple messages to their message center and made many phone calls and the only response I get is that it is under review. In December I sent a letter of appeal and copied Bright's President, the Arizona Insurance Commissioner. For me, this is a matter of principle. I faithfully paid their insurance premiums monthly and yet this is the service I get for their expensive premiums. Bright has since pulled out of Arizona and appears to feel that it does not need to honor its claims. I now see that I am not the only one who has been had by this company. If they are still out there anywhere, My advise, DO NOT get insurance through this company.

I've never known such a company where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Very inefficient and error prone. Customer service reps are useless. Avoid Bright!

Their customer service call center is awful. Communication barriers big time. I don't know what remote Asian island they outsource to but any time I have called, they stumble over English like they are just now learning it.

Worst customer service I have ever met. They don't know anything and just they say we will bring it up with our supervisor, and never here back from them. They always overcharge you and no body is there to answer your question.I am very happy that no longer have them as my insurance company. It is the first time in my life that I am happy to change the insurance company.

scam. The insurance refuses to pay medical bill even for in-network doctors. We spent many hours on the phone to dispute erroneous claims without any success.
