Old seed warehouse, multiple stories, filled with artist studios and quaint shops. The NKB is worth wandering anytime of the year, is a zoo during Art-a-whirl, yet may require personal appointments to gain access to the more interesting or arcane bits. Watch for first Thursdays and open studios throughout the year. Also insinuate yourself into this community and gain access to a great social and artistic activities and events.

This is a trap for young women to express themselves but the face of it is positive but the dark parts are toxic. Do not express your art here they will just steal your ideas and threaten to kill you if you tell. DO NOT TRUST RYAN! THE COPS ARE LOOKING FOR HIM CALL THE POLICE IF HE THROWS ANOTHER PARTY TO GET PEOPLE DRUGGED UP! CLEAN UP YOUR ACT OR YOU WILL BE SHUT DOWN!

For those of us who are lovers of contemporary art, it is another MOST in Minneapolis. Much to know about artists and emerging art.

Look, this place is huge and there are a ton of artists. Are they all to my taste, absolutely not, but there are a handful of truly inspiring, creative, and jaw-dropping artists here and the place is definitely worth putting in the time and steps to visit and explore. The building itself is cool to navigate, and the place is always vibrant if you visit during one of the many “open nights” or during the Art Crawl (which is pretty crowded, TBH, but still fun.

What an amazing place. First-time visitor on the "open Saturday" events, and it was fantastic. The best part is getting to actually meet and visit with the artists to discuss their crafts. We don't buy a lot of art, which is not a reflection of desire bc so much of it was really beautiful, but visiting with people about their passions is a fulfilling and inspiring way to spend a day.

Old American architecture. Fun to walk around and browse the artisans' spaces. Interesting structure that still has many original doors and counterweight door closers. Would love to come back when more artisans are available.

The Northrup King Building is a labyrinth of a complex, filled to the brim with artist galleries and workspaces, each one host to the unique presence and creative expression of the beautiful people who call it their own.We came here for Art Attack 2023, in the company of good friends and eager to explore. Finding no end to the passion of the artists of this space, we wandered for several hours, all aglow in the joy of the human experience and shining with gratitude and love. ?

Great building. Unfortunately it's owned by a criminal organization. Not a safe place to work as an artist. Artspace is active in censorship akin to Reichskulturkammer and purely illegal activity.
