Amazing experience. John at the front desk was the easiest guy to work with ever. Went in for an oil leak and he called me letting me know what was happening and how he can fix it. Was super honest and gave an amazing deal. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks John you just earned a customer for life.

This shop is amazing. I can trust that my nearly 20 year old car is in good hands when it’s with them. They always take good care of me here. They’re professional, honest, personable, and organized. They have always been able to squeeze me in with just a few days notice and they have always had my car back to me by the end of the day. I don’t even live in the neighborhood anymore but I would rather commute to this shop than pick a new one closer to home. Never had any issues and that means a lot to me. I took my car in for an oil change on because they were near me and had good reviews, and I have been losing trust with dealerships which I had been using until now. I was happy with the service, though what made me review them was the second visit I had with them. A couple weeks later I noticed my splash guard was falling off under the car so I took it back there, and they found screws for it and fixed it in 20 minutes free of charge. I intend to continue to use their services from now on.

Derek & Nelson's Auto Repair on Lyndale has always been my family's go-to crew for our car needs. Reasonably priced, excellent communication, and very accommodating with my hectic schedule. They clearly describe what's happening with my vehicle and if they can't fix an issue (my transmission failed) they referred me to a different (yet not as incredible since nobody can beat Nelson's) facility to get the work done well.
I also love that they're located right on a bus line so I can easily get to and from their location.
