We absolutely love Neighborhood Children's House. I am thrilled a neighbor suggested it for our kids.Teachers Alison, Eleanor and Cathan are patient, kind, inclusive, supportive, FUN! and diligent. The curriculum is amazing. It's age appropriate at every turn, they include music, sign language, music WITH sign language and monthly themes. Not to mention a handful of special events throughout the year to bring parents into the classroom as well.Our kids, like most, were attached and apprehensive about school. Now that they've completed their first year at NCH, they don't understand why they can't go in the summer. ?I highly recommend this preschool. They offer part time, half day options in the morning and the evening. It's affordable and it's established. You won't regret reaching out to take a tour.

Teacher Alison is experienced, warm, and creative! She brings a sense of wonder to every day objects such as shells, 2 L bottles as scuba diving tanks, and a group of trees known as the land of nine trees.

We love NCH!! The teachers are so passionate about engaging the curiosity of their students. There is a real sense of community and practicing acceptance and compassion are part of the culture. The curriculum is packed with science, music, cooking, geography, physics, art and engineering. It is the perfect fit for our family. We can not recommend this school enough.

Neighborhood Children's House was such a positive part of our kids younger years. The environment was perfect for their first school experience and really set them up for success. The teachers are fantastic and I really couldn't have asked for a better preschool to send our kids to!

NCH is a godsend! Having never put my child in daycare or school before, I wasn't sure what to expect from a preschool experience. Alison and her co-teachers create a warm and nurturing atmosphere that attracts an open and welcoming community of kids and parents that I feel so grateful for!! NCH is SO affordable and incorporates music and montessori-like values into the curriculum. Truly, it's like sending your child to a family friend's house to play each day and my daughter has grown so much in just a few months. Thank you, NCH!

A true neighborhood gem! The teachers are positive, compassionate, caring, patient and committed to each and every family. The entire curriculum is fun, thoughtful, inspiring and creative. We love Neighborhood Children’s House. Our child did morning preschool here — it’s a magical place with nurturing teachers who foster a love of learning. We loved their monthly themes, exciting art projects, fun activities, and play-based learning. I can wholeheartedly recommend the school!

My child attended preschool at NCH from 2021-2022. He is now in kindergarten and has transitioned so smoothly thanks to Alison and the other staff at NCH. He loved preschool, and I loved it too! Alison was so thoughtful and considerate maneuvering through the pandemic with young children. They learned so many invaluable skills for kindergarten such as pre-writing skills, language and vocabulary (including some Spanish and sign language), gross motor and fine motor skills, listening skills, early mathematical concepts, problem solving, musical skills with weekly wee-bop incorporated, pre-reading skills, early science concepts (including an emphasis on taking care of our planet) as well as social-emotional skills. Everything was very hands-on and curiosity and creativity were encouraged. They fostered independence through working on self-care (going to the bathroom, washing hands, etc), tidying up, and being responsible for their belongings. NCH also organizes several amazingly adorable performances throughout the school year. It was obvious that all of the staff cared for my child and wanted to see him succeed. I am excited for my second child to attend preschool at NCH so we can experience it all again. I would highly highly recommend NCH and Ms. Alison!

We are so thankful for the work that Alison and the other teachers at NCH do. We spent a year struggling with "big center" childcare. The change to NCH was transformative. Our daughter can't wait for each new day. It is clear that the NCH team invest tremendous care into making a safe and welcoming place for their students to learn.

My kiddo attended when he was 3 and 4 . Love it so much . Definitely recommend. My kid learned sign language and a bit of Spanish here as well.

NCH is amazing. My daughter was reluctant to go to preschool until she met the teachers here. They are truly invested in their students and their families. The staff here creates a nurturing and caring learning environment with a rich curriculum focusing on science, geography, reading, intercultural exchange, arts and so much more. I HIGHLY recommend NCH for any family looking for a great preschool.

I highly recommend Neighborhood Children's House. Alison and all the teachers at NCH are excellent, wonderful educators, and people. Alison has created a compassionate, nurturing, fun environment for kids, where they focus on considerate social interaction, cooperative activities and play, but there is also a fantastic curriculum focused on rich, important topics that are meaningful to the kids, and to me as a parent. My child loves science, biology, and geography, and learning about the environment, and I was delighted to see her engage with these topics, among others, in preschool. The topics are engaged through reading, play, discussion, music (excellent music classes, led by professionals), and art projects. We greatly miss NCH, and Alison, in particular!

Both of my daughters went to NCH and I cannot recommend this pre-school enough! The teachers are AMAZING and really care about their students. The subjects they learn are awesome and the school does an amazing job of making learning fun and playful which is absolutely perfect for kids at that age.

NCH is an absolutely fabulous preschool, my daughter loves attending. So affordable, top-notch teachers, an amazing two-year curriculum, sign language and music every week! My daughter has built so much confidence and grown in her social skills and knowledge since attending. I can't wait for my second kiddo to be old enough to attend NCH!
