How do you let a player continue to play in a game who threw punches at the other team and caused a whole commotion. That should be grounds for ejection period!!!!!! This organization is awful! Do better!

Refs are really horrible sometimes, noticeable bias in these high level games. But there are some refs that pretty good.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! $120 Gets You A T-Shirt & Non matching hat as well as doubleheaders every Sunday... If you're lucky you'll get a 2 hour break between games... Not us though. Not one all season. Aweful Coaching, especially when the coach decides to Ump the game And still try and coach even though there are two coaches in the dugout. Coach does not understand that Several kids on the team have played together for years and play certain positions. He places them in alternate positions which creates Safety issues and hurt players. I.e. someone he perceived as having a hurt arm (was stretching his arm oddly All Day Long) was catching, in outfield, at first and then All of a sudden when pitching during the heat of the end of the game with 1 deciding run needed was pulled and the game ended Blaming it on the kid's hurt arm. I have never seen a coach pull a 14 year old without even asking them if they could make 2 or 3 more pitches. No Umpires, and if the game is tied the coach will call it because you know, we waited 30 minutes for an umpire and started late, so we will give it to the other team. NO Communication from Gopher State or MAYAS organization. 2 weekends in a row in Hutchinson, 1 weekend without playing a game with any Hutchinson team... Oh and Now the parents are being asked to provide another almost $10 to the league for no reason. I am appalled at Gopher State. I am appalled that there is Nobody to contact. But it goes to show that there is ZERO communication. I hope that All parents reconsider their use of this organization. It's not worth the time or headache. Use your local leagues or make Sandlot ball with the kids you know.

This organization has a very poor awareness, accountability and response to children with Autism. I unfortunately found this out when my son with autism was asked to leave a meet because of a huge meltdown. The directors response was, mocking, uncaring, blaming and made excuses for the staff member that asked us to leave because my son was making a "scene". Personally very disappointed at the lack of commitment to being an inclusive organization.

Ridiculously poor responsiveness from MYAS basketball admin people. They want coaches to bring their teams, but when they ask a question, they don't respond. Wow...I can see why they can't fill out tournaments and end up having teams so unevenly matched....youth teams getting crushed & not wanting to play again. Really about the money and not the kids.

True monopoly, Competition is good for all and in this case with youth sports being huge money there is no competition for them . No checks and balances all policies and rules were written by there executive director and he just changes or adds rules as he sees fit .

The blanlant disrespect and racism WE (our coaches, players AND parents) experienced during the Boys Grade State weekend was ridiculous!

Our experience playing in the MYAS 2017 Grade State tournament was very unpleasant. Our 4th grade A1 team won the championship, but many of our boys, coaches and parents were treated disrespectfully throughout the event. Our athletes were called cheaters and an unfair dream team. Our team was told to "go back to our neighborhood." Our boys are excellent athletes who play with passion and good sportsmanship. They work extremely hard and they deserve all the accolades they receive. Our team has never cheated. Our team winning photo wasn't posted on the Facebook page along with all the other winning teams, until I specifically posted to ask if the A1 teams were going to be posted, and then they posted it. It was embarrassing to be treated so poorly at this MYAS (a highly respected organization) event.

The Minnesota Youth 7on7 Passing League (my7on7) is a fun, competitive, non-contact way to play football. It is an all passing, played on a 50-yard field, and allows scoring both on offense and defense. Passing and catching take a great deal of practice to master. Participating on a 7on7 league offers athletes an exceptional, competitive way to hone their skills. Four age groups separate the league equally. Division I (7th & 8th grade) Division II (5th & 6th grade) Division III (3rd & 4th grade) NEW! Division IV (Kindergarten - 2nd grade) The Passing League will run successfully with a minimum of 4 teams per division, and registration will close with a maximum of 8 teams per division. Each roster will be complete at around 10-12 players. All games will be held on Sundays 1PM-8:30PM, at the East Ridge High School Stadium (Raptor's Nest). The season is 8 weeks long and will start on April 3rd 2016, and end on May 22nd 2016. (Bad weather exception: Indoor games will be held at the Bielenberg Sports Complex house) To properly plan the logistics of this league we will need all participants interested to register individually ASAP. Registration deadline is March 11th, and players/parents/coaches meeting will follow mid-March. New my7on7 uniforms will be handed out at this time. League cost to participate ($86). Registration links are above! For all questions: email my7on7@mail.com Help build awareness by following the league on Twitter: @my7on7, Instagram: @my7on7, and using the hash tag #my7on7.
