Warning- We have stayed here for years and have recommended it to many people. Something has happened in the past year b/c it’s been an awful experience. No one will clean our room, we have asked for 2 days. It’s been cleaned once in 4 days. It is 7pm and still no service after calling AND stopping at the desk. The place is falling apart, the bathrooms are beat up.
If you need a clean towel? Forget it. Helpful employees? Not here. Don’t waste your money, we will never be back.

Booked a room here through Expedia that was supposed to have a patio. When we got to our room it did not have a patio. We called down to the front desk and they were able to switch our room, and also brought a new key up to us and helped us move our luggage to the new room. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! This was also during the time when they had an influx of an additional 90 guests due to flights being canceled at MSP. They stayed calm and accommodating. Our room was large and gorgeous and our private patio was nice, could use a little updating.
Rooms: We had a patio suite with a pull out couch. The room was super spacious and provided us everything we needed. We will be going again and booking that room with an adjoining room for my birthday celebration.

Stayed here for a wedding weekend. One of the biggest lobby's I've ever seen. As far as location goes, I have no idea were I was, so not sure in relationship to convince of a location goes. Do know it must not be convenient enough to the airport because they don't offer an airport shuttle.. cost $50 for Lyft to get me here! (About a good 15 minute drive). But a nice drive.. also, there is the one attached restaurant, but NO other eating places within walking distance.. seamed to be in a residential type neighborhood..

I stayed at the Marriott Hotel on Wyzata Blvd in Golden Valley MN this past weekend. My stay was okay except the mattress was too soft. Today I noticed an extra $60 charge on my bank statement. I had pre-paid the $609.00 for 2 nights which I thought was exorbitant but the location was good for me. I tried to find out what the extra $60 charge was for and after calling 3 different numbers for Marriott & waiting on the phone for exactly 1 hour & 10 minutes, I hung up. Very disappointing not to be able to speak to anyone?

I've stayed at a lot of Courtyard's over the past decades, and this one by far was the best. Fresh, clean, modern. Joel, at the front, was welcoming, friendly & attentive.
Rooms: Everything up-to-date, clean, fresh, welcoming.

Just checked in. Wonderful welcome and service from the lady at the check in desk tonight. I didn't catch her name but she was very helpful and made us feel right at home. The room is great. Large, nicely furnished and spotless. This hotel is in a perfect location for us for our business needs here in the west side of Minneapolis.

Heads up the Starbucks opens at 6:30am on weekends even though signage in both wings of the hotel say 7 days a week at 6am.
Really nice west lobby side , I worked all day from there on a Friday. Overall staff was friendly except for a waitress in Kip’s that was borderline aggressive.
Housekeeping was questionable. The first night there under the covers there was a piece of yellow skin or dried mucus with a blonde hair stuck to it. I have black hair.
Next morning my clothes that were on the bed was strewn on the floor. Presumably strewn on the floor when the house keeper was making the bed.
Following morning, very strange, the towel that they instructed to leave on the floor to be taken away to wash was strewn on the chair in the bedroom arm instead.

Unfriendly welcome here after a very long drive. Front desk clerk refused to give any dinner recommendations beyond the on-site restaurant. Claims that is the ONLY place she eats. Once in the room greeted by a $6 bottle of water. Mattress was too soft and hurt my back. Thermostat never reaches the temperature that you want. Horrible stay. I should've done better research before booking this stay. Marriott normally does better but this property does not live up to their standards. I can only assume that this hotel stays in business solely to it's vicinity to the General Mills World Headquarters and people charging their stay to expense accounts. Highly overpriced for what you actually receive.

Excellent! Great location, away from the noise but still close to everything. Beautiful, clean rooms, and excellent staff, so friendly, accommodating & professional. Always a great experience at Marriott!

The hotel is excellent! The rooms and service are very good but the food was not good. Kips is the restaurant connected to the hotel and they have very good service but the food is bad. I ordered the 10oz Sirloin, and it wasn't cooked well (ordered medium and it came well done), and it was difficult to cut even with a large steak knife. The lemon cake was dry, and the mashed potatoes were runny. The breakfast food was better, but none of it was worth the price. Going to the Bistro next door was much better. The bathroom was well lit with decent water pressure and plenty of big fluffy towels. The TV was large and had online service for streaming apps, but Netflix wouldn't work. Fortunately, the TV was new enough, and the WiFi was good, and we could stream Netflix from our laptop. Overall the stay was very good and the service was good.
