It has a lot of Mexican things, it's just that it's very expensive if you're looking for something Mexican, I think about it but three kisses higher the price than what it's worth.

Best Churro in Minnesota. I took a crew of teenagers here, and the teenagers all know some Spanish. They were mostly too embarrassed to try speaking, but the workers and the other customers were very kind to them. The kids ended up buying plenty of treats and declaring all of them fabulous. This is a bakery for anyone. There's usually plenty of parking on the street, even with the construction.

It was way too expensive and most likely never go back. 3.69 for 1 can, if you have food stamps for get about it, it'll be gone with one visit.

Called Marissa’s both supermarket and bakery this morning and all phone directories are a dead end. Please fix this as it can be such a inconvenience and do not want to drive to your establishment when I could just call and ask.

No vallan! Cambian los precios de los pasteles siempre cuando se les de la gana! STAY AWAY! They (the staff) all change the prices on everything if you don't know them! And the cakes have gotten so bland! They are over priced and lack proper signage!

Interesting place. I'm glad I finally stopped in.You can dine in or buy groceries. I can't believe how huge it is!! It's as big as a Walmart in there, no joke.But $4.59 for a gallon of milk!?! Really!?! I would imagine the majority of the regular customers are Hispanic yet also neighbors such as me...none of us well known for having big bucks. FYI a gallon of milk at Target is $2.15.

Excellent selection of products in a very upscale market. Friendly staff and great management. Trendy area and parking can be limited at times.

I have had Marissa's bakery bread since I was a baby, not joking. This bakery has a long history in the whittier neighborhood and with it, a great trajectory of delicious, fresh and scrumptious bread. When asked about Mexican bakeries, this is my favorite in all of Minnesota. As you walk in, you're greeted with a sweet bread scent that will make you feel in pan dulce paradise. Bread is baked daily and it is always fresh. My favorite pan are the conchas, they're not thick and hard like most bakeries around town. These are soft, sweet and just perfect to dip into milk. I need to stop myself from eating more than one in one sitting! If you're wondering where the best rosca de Reyes is at, this bakery is it. They typically have long lines the day of, so make sure you reserve yours or pick it up early!
