John and his team deserve your business. I never leave Google reviews, however, after the experience I have had, it needs to be done. I have a fully paid off Subaru with a little over 100K miles. I have taken the car to Turbo Tims and a shop in Maple Grove. Both shops quoted me around $3K to fix leaking valves. Turns out, I need valve cover gaskets replaced not valve covers. The job is $600 not $3,000 that was quoted from the other shops.Today I went to Blvd Autoworks in NE Minneapolis. I needed my left axle replaced. Was quoted >$500 for this and was told my breaks needed replacing which Blvd quoted me almost $800 for the front two break pads and rotors. I called John and asked him to quote me for both the axle and breaks. His quote was $300 less total. I googled the parts and Blvd up charged the price of all parts.I get to John at Lowry Repair Center and they show me the parts and the condition of my breaks. They did not recommend a break exchange and showed me that all four break pads were 5 mm at least.Honest and trustworthy guys, fair prices, and free education. I could not recommend them more. Give them your business, save your money and prevent yourself from being tricked into outrageous prices elsewhere. Go to Lowry Repair Center. His team will be getting my business going forward. I appreciate the money that they saved me and the education and time they spent teaching me about my car.

This morning, I had a wonderful experience at Lowery Repair Center! As a college student and first-time car owner in a new city, I was a bit on edge and nervous, especially as a woman, not knowing what to expect and fearing I might get taken advantage of, since I know nothing about cars! However, John and his team greeted me with such warmth and generosity that I instantly felt like my car, and most importantly, I were in good hands! John was incredibly thorough in his explanations and deeply kind. They took great care of my car, and I eagerly anticipate returning to Lowry Repair for all my future concerns and repairs! You know you have found a true gem when you’re excited to tell your friends the awesome time you had at the mechanic!!! :)

I am so glad to have found John and the staff at Lowry Repair Center. We recently moved to Minneapolis and I've had trouble finding a reliable mechanic I can trust. John was very straightforward and honest about what needed fixing on my car, took the time to answer ALL my questions and had it done on the timeline he laid out from the start. I will DEFINITELY be coming to John from now on and will be recommending him to all my friends looking for a great mechanic in NE Minneapolis.

I went in for an oil change and the mechanics noticed my radiator was leaking and they showed me where and explained that it needed to be replaced. Jeff showed me where the leak was. John, Jeff and Nick are honest and they are the go to place to have any work done on your vehicle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND very professional.

10/10 would recommend! I talked to the owner and his son and they were very accommodating and got me in last second on a Friday. Very nice folks, and I personally will be going back to them with any auto needs. I definitely recommend giving them your business! Thanks guys!!

Hi, I brought in an old Lexus that needed a heater core, and it was done in a timely and professional manner. The price was reasonable and up front. I came back a couple weeks later because I couldn't get the hood closed for some reason. One of the techs at Lowry Repair showed me how to get the hood closed, saving me some time and trouble. Thanks Lowry Repair for all you do!

It’s very hard to find a good mechanic, let alone someone you can trust. John at Lowry Repair is honest, personable and knowledgeable. They are accommodating and accept walk ins. I usually drop my car off and will get a call in a timely manner to discuss in detail whats going on with my car. He even brought me into the shop and showed me what needed to be repaired underneath my car. Also checks for additional things as well. Id highly recommend this place with your car maintence needs. Also fairly priced, and everything is discussed with you so there is no surprise charges.
