Don’t normally write reviews, but wanted to share an awesome experience that I had with Honest 1. Marc was very helpful from the moment I stepped in the door. Very upfront about pricing/service/turn around time. Also very strong in keeping me looped in with any updates on my services.
The Honest1 team will not try to upsell you on things not needed. After assessing the age of my vehicle, Marc actually steered me towards the dealership to see if parts could be replaced under warranty. Very customer first to make sure folks get the best solution possible. These are folks that I can trust with my vehicleand will be a repeat customer in the future!

Been taking my car to this location for the past few years and I have always been satisfied with the quality of their work and the way they treat me with sincerity. The manager, Marc, is very personable and the techs at this location are very knowledgeable. A real boon to this community.

I don't usually write reviews, but I've been to this location multiple times with different issues, and it has consistently been one of the best experiences I've had at an auto shop. I don't even check competitors' prices anymore because I know I'm getting a fair deal here. They're clear, timely, and most importantly, they're excellent at what they do.
I have to give a special mention to the front man, Mark, every time I've spoken with him, it's felt like talking to a friend. He even asked about a trip I was planning. I've dealt with Mark each time I've visited, and the experience has always been the same, in the best way possible.

I brought our car in to get new tires recently, and ended up leaving it with them for a couple of days. After the work was done they called to tell me that they were finished, AND give me the RIDICULOUS news that my rear windshield was now broken. The conversation continued by them repeatedly telling me that this was no fault of theirs and they didn't intend to take any responsibility. Eventually, I talked to the regional manager who continued to regurgitate the stance that I was in the wrong for expecting to have my car returned to me with a windshield that is in the same condition as I dropped it off in.
Eventually I gave up and picked up my car, payed them a bloated amount for the work they had done, and now refuse to go back to any Honest 1 location. I hope you learn from my experience and find a more trustworthy mechanic than this shady operation.

This place is a SCAM. Don’t be fooled by Andrew’s fake over friendliness at 1st. Brought my car here months ago for issue w/ start up that ended up being fixable only at a dealership.
So Honest decided to make up a diagnosis of over $500 of other repairs I absolutely “needed”. Stupidly, I agreed to one (brake light switch) which after getting I realized was INSANELY overpriced. They also insisted I needed a new car battery. I said I’d do it myself because it was so overpriced and Andrew caught attitude. I went to autozone to get my battery tested and it was and still is PERFECT!
Worst of all, I had a mysterious issue w/ my brakes, the only thing they touched, not too long after. Do not go here.

I love how Honest-1 operates and how well they communicate. Their techs take pictures and document everything which is then sent to me through an email, which definitely helps me know what is being done and why.
I've also always been able to pick my car up on the same day that I drop it off, which is a huge plus.
Overall, they are true to their name and I feel like I get a great value and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

I had heard really great things about this place from a friend and they did not disappoint.
I first used them in the winter because there was a rattle in my dash. They did a thorough inspection and determined the car was still safe to drive but was not worth all of the money to take apart the dash.
I’ve since used them for my standard oil change and got some new tires from them the very next day. Fast, friendly, and reliable service from this crew. And that’s really what I’m looking for in my mechanic.

Excellent customer service! We had an issue with our vehicle while on a vacation. It was the week of the 4th and Wednesday afternoon. We called Honest-1 because they were open. Marc was super helpful. Got us in 1st thing Friday morning and had a loaner for us so we wouldn't be stuck without a vehicle until it was fixed. They did a great job! Thank you again Marc, we truly appreciate your help getting us fixed up fast for the rest of our vacation!!

A few months ago I brought my 2008 Pontiac vibe in for a look over because I didn't trust the mechanics who were diagnosing my car. Honest one gave me a quote of a thousand plus dollars for one wheel bearing (I needed both) and said my brakes needed to be done too. After the inspection I opted to take the car to another place and they said they'd do both wheel bearings for a thousandish bucks. While they were fixing the wheel bearings and looking at the brakes they said they were at 40 percent and didn't need to be replaced.
HONEST ONE IS A JOKE. If you absolutely need to get your car fixed I hit up another shop. THESE GUYS ARE NOT HONEST AND OVERPRICED.
The garage I took my car to and will continue to take my car to is Nowthen garage. Check them out. They may be an hour away from the cities but THEY ARE HONEST and reasonably priced.

They stole my wheel lock key.
I came to the shop with it in my empty a$$ glove compartment. Only to receive a call saying that they can’t locate it (I have a newer vehicle so most shops don’t have the compatible key). I’m like, let me call the last place I got service done, the dealership, to make sure they didn’t snag it. My dealership stated they don’t even use customer wheel lock keys because they have their own…as they ARE who manufactures the car so of course they would have one of their own on hand. I call Honest back to let them know and to double check that it was not in the glove compartment box, etc. and their response was, “well it’s not in there **click**”— hung up the phone on me!!! So I went and picked up my car to take it 25 mins away to the dealership for service…
I only chose Honest because it was minutes away from my house, was open at 7am, and had good reviews. I had woke up to 4PSI in my rear tire that morning.
My glove compartment is kept relatively empty. Its contents have ALWAYS consisted of my car insurance lil portfolio thing & the infamous wheel lock key. I usually always hear the key rolling around in there as I turn corners while driving. Literally heard it days leading up to my flat tire. Make it make sense people.

Got a new alternator installed within a day and a half from the time my car broke down. The price was great and I am super happy with the work that was done. Great job, I would definitely recommend.

All of the times I've used honest 1 I've been ripped off and lied too. Recently they quoted over $600 more for a repair because of "rust bolts." Took it to my usual mechanic, and not only were the pictures of an entirely different part, but the bolts that "needed to be cut" were easily removed. They also charged me $500 for a new battery terminal, and they part put in was cheap and doesn't really fit. Don't go here, they're ripping you off, and far from honest.
