I really used to love shopping at GH2; I would always find a gem that I didn’t know I needed, and many of those pieces have remained in my rotation for years. The employees were also wonderful: friendly, knowledgeable, and with great recommendations.I was so disappointed, however, when I stopped by on a recent weekend. Not only was the selection was lacking - which makes sense given what some consigners have said in other reviews - but the employee who was working was so unfriendly and rude that I felt unwelcome and left without browsing. I feel like much of what made GH2 a destination and so charming has gone; I hope the spark returns because it’s wonderful having a spot like this in Northeast.

Firstly I would like to say I never leave bad reviews. But this is the third time i have come in and purchased multiple things where the lady is so quiet and rude. No greeting and I help myself to the fitting room. Not impressed. She is very stand offish and makes me uncomfortable. I am a regular as well.

I dropped off 7 items to consign over a year ago and was baffled why nothing had sold until now. Yesterday, I found that a friend of mine had actually been there in July and bought the exact skirt I had consigned--and yet I haven't received a single check from GH2. Their selling practices are opaque and seller contract is essentially agreeing to donating your items to them. I've left thousands of dollars worth of clothes to be consigned over the years and have made maybe $100. Seller beware.

I travelled pretty far to get to this store and arrived at 1pm on a Wednesday. The hours on the door and on Google maps both say that they are open 12-6 on Wednesday. Im sure I would’ve loved this place had it been open but they are not true to their hours. Pretty disappointed and frustrated with their lack of respect for other peoples time

I've consigned quite a few things here recently and many items have been "lost in the basement" for weeks, not inventoried properly and paid late. The girls that work there are super nice and have great taste but this place is very poorly managed. Great product in store and very highly priced. Disappointing and unprofessional.

I used to shop here a lot... and then I tried consigning with them. Nothing sold, and when I picked up a pair of NWT designer shoes with box and dust bags, they gave me the shoes back with nothing else. I was not able to get those box and bags back, even though they add to the value of the shoe. Their answer was “we don’t keep track of stuff like that.” Really wish I would’ve known that when I dropped them off! Haven’t been back since

Dangerous and delightful! :) I absolutely love GH2 for a variety of reasons!! First of all the hunt and thrill of surprise. Because it is a slightly used second hand store you never know what your going to find, which designer, what year, what style. Its a thrill finding both new and modern, and classic and vintage. I'll get lost for hours in this shop, even though its organized, clean, friendly, and not overwhelming. I love the fact (and maybe it just helps me feel better about shopping) that I'm repurposing, re-wearing quality clothing and not having it go to waste. Prices range from high high end to affordable. But the best thing is its uniqueness. I am one who wants to get something one of a kind, different, show stopping, that only I will be wearing, and this is where I go. Because of its non conventional inventory, you get unique pieces not otherwise found in Minneapolis which allows you to stand out in the best way having those pieces no one else will. Everything I purchase from GH2 I get constant compliments on, feel regal in designer thats affordable to me, and know I will be the only one in it that evening. Styles range from classic to funky, from vintage to futuristic, from Americana to Parisian, young to wise, casual basics to ball gowns. They have shoes, accessories, scarves, winter ware, bags. You just never know what will be on those racks ready for you to discover. If you're seeking something special don't be afraid to ask. Thats how they showed me my favorite satin ball gown skirt. They also BUY! I haven't myself sold anything to them but know that they do take in and purchase designer clothing off hand. So thats that, if you're looking for unique, one-of-kind, affordable designer, pieces to add to your wardrobe, go on the hunt here at GH2. Good luck, you're going look stunning :)

I got a wonderful dress for an even better price, and the lady working there was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!
