These employees are GREAT at what they do, and great at getting the customer the answers they need. I deal with both supplies and med departments, and they are both great. Also, listening/watching Jennifer at the front desk answer calls every 2.5 seconds is amazing!

Pharmacy staff is rude and doesn’t do basic patient care that automatically happens at other pharmacies. Out of refills on a medication? They can’t be bothered to send a message to the doctor to notify/request more. Doctor writes a note requesting brand name prescription only? We’re told they’re not required to follow that instruction because the doctor forgot to mark “dispense as written.”I’m sure this pharmacy is fine if you don’t need any special attention, but that goes out the window the moment you have issues with insurance or need them to contact a doctor.This place supposedly works mostly with group homes and sober living facilities—places that are going to have patients with complex medication regimens.If you decide to utilize this pharmacy, my advice is to be very proactive and follow up on everything. There is no such thing as them being proactive for the patient.

This pharmacy sucks!! You get random employees that can't find your info. They send in med refill requests days before they're needed making them unavailable when needed. They are a spiecal kinda stupid

I have a high medical needs son who now lives in a group home.What I have noticed:Communication:Very polite. However, I was told when I called a couple of times, "they don't work directly with families only the group homes."PRIOR AUTH'S1. I noticed when he needed a prior auth for a medication they did not communicate that with the families or group home until you called them. "we can't fill without a prior auth" and the doctor would have to "rush" to get it in. They did not initiate it.2. I gave them my number and asked them to call if there was an issue with a medication such as needing a prior auth and so on to avoid the rushing, but they never would.3. If a med wasn't covered they never would try to do a prior auth with the doctor they would just tell us "not covered" and just bill us.CO-PAYSMy son's co-pays went from $10 a month to $80 or more a month because they wouldn't go that extra step with the insurance to get the meds approved.SOME MEDICATIONSI was informed that they don't carry his Fycompa and other meds and rather than trying to get it in, I ended up having to get it at another pharmacy.ASKEDI asked them if they delivered pull-ups and Chux (under pads) since my son's supply company switched to hospice. Customer Service asked why he needed chux and when I told her incontinence she informed me "They don't cover for that reason" which is absolutely not true.Final Outcome:I ended services with Geritom and went back to our regular pharmacy (CVS) and I just self deliver to the group home myself.SUGGESTION:Geritom is awesome for non-high needs. BUT If you have a high needs loved one who has lots of medications or seizure meds that require prior auths OR if you need to communicate regularly with the pharmacy due to your loved ones needs.....I would suggest sticking with whatever you normally do and not switching to Geritom.Fairness:What I liked about Geritom is the same day delivery and how they packaged meds.Every experience is different, my experience with them was working with them for almost a year before switching back.I am writing this because I want other special needs families to be able to make an informed choice so they can decide what's best for their loved ones before they switch.Thanks for reading

Absolute trash place to work! If you become pregnant or sick, you will be fired immediately. You are required to sign an "At Will" contract upon hiring, and they will screw you at the 1st opportunity! Disgusting management practices!

Not long ago our assisted living homes switched to Geritom and as an RN who needs to contact the pharmacy OFTEN I really appreciate the excellent service that I and my residents have received from Geritom. All of the techs and pharmacists are always so pleasant, knowledgeable and their delivery service is TOP NOTCH! I highly recommend using Geritom to anyone for all of their pharmaceutical and medical supply needs. I can ALWAYS count on them and look forward to working with them for years to come!

I genuinely believe Geritom does a good job and does their best at taking care of their overwhelming number of patients, especially for how short staffed they always are.Speaking of, though, if you are unfortunate enough to get a job there and you're not one of the management's favorites? Wingspan Life Resources has used Geritom for over a decade and the people who answer the phones are always calm and knowledgeable. We can call in prescriptions and get them same day.Geritom offers such a wide variety of packaging options as well. They’re really willing to work with you and seem to go out of their way to make sure our residents are taken care of.

The service is rude. When you call every single person you talk to will act like you are an inconvenience to their day. The front desk person ALWAYS has an attitude the pharmacist are hit or miss. Just plain rude.

Trying to double charge me for medications from over 2 years ago that insurance already paid for. These are the kinds of companies you want to avoid because it's a scam. They charge your insurance and tell you you have a copay two years later after insurance says you have no copay.Know your rights people, they can't make you pay for something covered by insurance, after insurance says you have zero copay. Especially creating new bills out of thin air two years later. It's a scam company.

unprofessional and conniving allowed my assisted living to make several prescriptions in my name on my behalf without my prior authorization or knowledge have called The board of health to file complaints will continue to call the board of health and file complaints if a prescription is made in my name I should have some knowledge of it not just the assisted living who is giving my medication to another resident who takes the same medication until his insurance kicks in

They nothing how they used to be.Called in something three days ago. They said it would be delivered the next day. It’s still not been delivered. Now I am out of my medicine.What happened to how they worked they were a good company THEN !!!!
