Drove all the way here but apparently they don’t let you try chairs anymore and I wasn’t even given an alternative of seeing the chairs or any of the other furniture after talking with front worker. There is also an appointment sign in front but no one was answering the calls I made. The front worker gave me a phone to call to ask about pricing however again that call wasn’t being answered either. Disappointed with the lack of transparency. Do I need to keep calling to set up an appointment? Why did the office worker automatically assume I wanted to only sit on the chairs....does that mean I can’t even see any of the tables or other office equipment? I feel like I was dismissed because they made assumptions about my socioeconomic status due to my skin color.

Work at home, looking for a new set desk and chair. My company advised me to check the stuff on this place. I called them, a lady named Kite, or something picked up the phone. After I told her what I am looking for, she turned me away by telling me: we are not doing business with the individual customers, we only do business to business. Immediately, I felt that rudeness and asked her whether you mean that retail customers are not welcome there. She said: yes, sort of. Such a big shame!

My parents were referred to you by a chair manufacturer for some fasteners. They were originally told by some man at your company that they could buy 100 of them for $50. They need less than 40 so when my mom went to pick them up, the woman said she could buy 50 of them for $50. This is double the price she was originally told and my mom explained this to the woman. The woman then agreed to let her buy 50 of them for $25. Today, they started working on reupholstering thei

The woman then agreed to let her buy 50 of them for $25. Today, my parents (who are in their 70's) started working on reupholstering their chairs. When it came time for them to use the fasters, they learned that the woman at General Office Products sold them the wrong size. My mom took them back today and was told they couldn't be returned. She paid cash for them! This is completely unacceptable! Imagine if you went to the bakery to buy cookies and when you got home and opened the box, you find that there were apples in there instead! This is a scam. She paid cash for a product General Office Products told her was the right one and it wasn't. Keeping her money is robbery.

I just relocated to Minneapolis and was in need of a chair for my home office. I'm a Video Editor and didn't want to go cheap (ikea), but couldn't afford a brand new Herman Miller or Steelcase chair. That's where General Office Products Used department came in.
