A company with a lack of professionalism, people are hostile, they don't have good customer services, if you ask, no one knows anything about anything and they even mistreat you. As a last mistake after many left parts of my car unplugged and damaged the remote start of my car. Now I need to take my car to the Dealer.They said that they had done a detailed cleaning of the car and delivered the car dirty and full of dust, although they assured me that they did a detailed cleaning that the insurance paid for.

Said it would take about a month. Took over 2 months. They would wait until the day they said I would get it back and the call to say “need another day or two”. The first time it was “to paint” but then it became about not having the right part. Then it became about staffing issues. It wasn’t until my insurance company called them that they finished. The back gate now clicks when closing and they didn’t event attach the electrical on the topper and left some spare parts for what appears to be a different car along with some dirty rags inside the truck. I understand the labor shortages and that sometimes stuff happens beyond their control (maybe Ford didn’t send them the right part ). It isn’t the 2months that caused me to give them 2 starts, it was the lack of proactive and honest communication. There is no excuse for consistently letting me know it was going to “be another few days” on the day it was scheduled to be returned. I relayed this each time it happened, but they kept doing it.

I want to thank CarStar for repairing my vehicle with such attention to detail. Chris called and communicated frequently to keep me up to speed of the repairs. They keep rescheduling my car appointment never call me to update me the day of I thought I was getting my car for the 2nd week they told me it will be done and I call they change it to a different week like people need they car I'm really not impress with the auto shop

Carstar in Fridley was awesome. Great service, communication via text no duplicate email messages. Phone calls only when needing to update auto text or to keep me posted on completion. My 2013 Ford Taurus needed front bumper repair. My car looks brand new. Paint color is a perfect match. Seamless communication with insurance claim & no surprise charges.I had unrelated request that I haven't been able to find anyone try to repair. Carstar didn't forget my request to have upholstery on passenger seat pulled & reattached to clip under the seat. Upholstery loosened & even Ford dealership said they couldn't repair (they no longer have upholstery service onsite) it had nothing to do with leather upholstery just reclipped under the seat. Thanks Carstar for fixing this. It's those little extra requests that make good service memorable. Carstar did a fantastic job on my auto body repair. Definitely would recommend to others & use again myself if ever needed. Great service Carstar!!Services: Painting

Don't take your car to this place. They will tell you that your car will be ready on a certain day and when you call to check, something always comes up. Your car will be delayed for days or a week. Perhaps even over the weekend like mine was. They never once called to update about the vehicle when work has been delayed, they couldn't get the part on time, or the price has gone up from the original quoted amount.I brought my vehicle in for repairs on the rear bumper after an accident. However, the colors did not match after the first attempt. They told me that the original bumper never matched the car. But I bought my car new so I didn't understand what their statement. They insisted the new color they painted on matched but it did not. They failed to listen to my concerns but instead tried to force their beliefs onto me. They refused to let me have a free loaner when I requested, a service that they provide and advertise.Reese, who is their regional manager, who met with us by his choice, never listened to us. He told us about his feelings. When we asked him a question, he shushed us, only motioned for us to follow him. He continued on about how he felt our pain because he had a truck in the shop, too. Later on, I called and left a message for Reese when my vehicle was not ready when promised. Reese never returned my call.Deseree, another associate, who generates quotes and works at the front desk needs to improve on her communication skills. She does not provide updates if the quote has gone up. Her affect is flat when speaking to me. She has no enthusiasm to assist me. She argues with me about things being out of her hands. It wasn't until I called my insurance company to have them call Carstar, did things started to happen. Somehow, they could get my car ready for me within 2 hours versus the next day.Each time, they attempted to correct their paint mistake, they billed my car insurance company more money. They claimed that they did the work on their penny, that it would only cost $500 more. It was not the full truth. A job that was originally quoted at $1,200 ended up being over $5,000.My biggest concern was communication. I wanted updates if there were delays. They never called me until I called them. I am very disappointed in their services. Needless to say, I will not return to this shop. I had a vehicle serviced from them years ago. I got my car back when promised, no issues. I went to them again because I thought their professionalism remained unchanged and also due to the fact that they could get me in sooner than my first choice. Now I know why they could get me in sooner. Save yourself the headache, stay away.Service: Painting

Very nice fix but as much as they do not follow up to know how you like it after the fix, they are more than ready and fast to help if you have an issue after. So basically I am satisfied with their service 100% car came back neat and clean❤Services: Steering & suspension repair

This is the third time I have brought a vehicle for service. Again, they did a fantastic job! They had to replace the antenna on my Equinox. When I went to pay it was cheaper than they had quoted. Also, my car was 100% cleaner inside and out than it was when I dropped it off. Would definitely recommend this shop for any service you might need.

The attached images show original damage where a deer slammed into my truck. A complicated fix since it involved multiple panels and the material is aluminum....Now you would never know since it looks perfect now. Carstar service was friendly. It was a pleasant experience to work with them and they did really nice work. I would only use them and expect I will after my next unplanned deer encounter...Service: Body & Trim
