dawg for the first time in forever, i am able to enjoy walking/running. Manny took the time to measure my feet and figure which shoes would work best for me. He took time to find a style I liked as well as making sure my feet would be properly supported. If you need a pair of kicks, look no further!!! ???↕️

I had forgotten how great it is to be fit for running shoes locally and by an expert.
Visiting yesterday was a great experience, and I have better fitting shoes than I’ve worn for years.
Manny owns and runs the place. He spent a lot of time making sure we had great fitting shoes. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and very personable. He spent a lot of time with us. I can hardly wait to need new shoes again!
His card says he does training too, so I’ll have to learn more about that. He has a spacious store with room in the back for exercise.
He carries gear for serious runners, not a ton but all high quality and thoughtfully chosen.

I’m so happy I found this place! It’s obvious that Manny thoughtfully selects his shoes and is an expert in finding the right fit for your foot. I also really appreciated that he asked what my style/color preference was before bringing out some options, however—all the shoes he brought out were super cool and fit my feet great! Highly recommend!!

He was knowledgeable and patient, and he answered all of my questions. He had me try different options and helped me make the best choice based on my comfort and balance. If you want running shoes, go to Manny at Fit First Running. I first went Manny in August 2023 and had no running experience. Now 9 months later I have bought 4 shoes from Manny and recently ran my first marathon.

Went in looking for a certain brand that I know I need for my feet and knees. Guy working told me those weren’t considered running shoes anymore. Was super rude and wasn’t even interested I working with me beyond telling me I was wrong.

When the first pair of shoes I picked out weren't a good fit (my fault-- I chose the pair I thought would be more weather proof... always choose comfort first!), I gave Manny a call and within 30 minutes he helped me pick out a new pair. These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn, I'll definitely be back!

I brought my daughter in for running shoes (HS cross country athlete)--she's had horrible shin splints for ~8 months. Manny took one look at her current shoes and explained in detail at least three ways that they were not helping, and what a shoe needed to do to actually help. He then using video and iPad technology to measure her gait wearing various other other shoes, and we settled on the shoe that line her joints up most efficiently. Never had a shoe store experience like this. Highly knowledgeable, very friendly, and focused on serving the customer. Highly recommend this business.

Manny was awesome!! I am new to running. He measured my feet gave me a few choices. He could have sold me the most expensive of the ones I tried on because I really liked them but he told me they didn't fit my feet right. I so appreciate his knowledge and honesty. 100% I will make the drive from Andover when I need another pair. Thanks so much Manny!!

I’ve literally struggled to find shoes that don’t cause pain or numbness in my feet my whole life. At Fit 1st Running they measured my feet before considering what shoes would even fit my feet, from the size of the shoe, to the height of my arch, to the height of the top of my foot (that’s why I was getting numbness).They started with two pairs of shoes that both felt amazing, and my balance was better instantly! I’ve been wearing one pair for a week now and it’s still great, I am even planning on going in to get that second pair because I cannot imagine putting on any of my old shoes again!

This store is fantastic. Manny takes the science of shoe design seriously. Before we tried even one shoe he analyzed every part of my foot and movement. He brought out multiple options but he told me the first one he selected will be the one. He was spot on. (And they looked cool as as a bonus) This is my new go to place.
