The hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms are cozy and the hallways are comfy. There is amazing art in the staircase for a pleasant surprise. My only gripe was the coffee maker was not cleened out from the previous visiter and the parking is a bit weird.

Very clean, big room. Liked the self checkin with code to access door as we often arrive very late. Such a great cause, too.

The facility was very nice and clean. Using a code to access the building and room was great! Although we only saw one staff person, we felt cared for.Noteworthy details: Though we were concerned about parking, it was easy.

Very pretty, delightful hotel. All amenities were very nice. This hotel serves a wonderful purpose and is one of the quietest and relaxing hotels I've ever stayed in. Definitely staying here when I come back. Highly recommend.

Horrible! worst stay ever... no on-site staff they dounle book my room so when I get there there's already people in my room. Since the rooms use door codes I was able to walk right in on these poor unsuspecting people meaning anyone who has stayed before has access. The TV is literally 13" yes 13inches good luck watching anything it looks like a tablet hanging on the wall. There's a 2in gap on the bottom of the doors so and the walls are paper thin so wouldn't recommend having relations with your significant other unless you want everyone on the floor to hear. Oh and the shower only has a half door and floods everytime so if you want to shower don't keep anything on the floor. Do not recommend.

Looked for an out of the way, nearby to family, place with COVID safe practices. This was perfect. Huge rooms, comfy beds and good amenities. All questions and needs immediately answered.

Don’t fall for what may be promoted as a distinctive lodging option in Edina MN. It has some serious downsides despite the laudable mission. The rooms are spacious and quiet, but what they don’t tell you until you book the room: Parking is off-site and a block or more away. Not an ideal situation for seniors or anyone with mobility issues. There is no microwave. There is no ice. TV is not cable, so be prepared for local broadcasts and limited viewing options. But there is Netflix. Meh. There are no towel bars. Not a single one. Toilet paper felt like crepe paper. One ply, only thinner. Worst ever. This place is in the MSP flight path, and the windows and exterior walls are not insulated against noise. There are odor eliminators placed in strategic locations in the room, presumably to eliminate objectionable odors…from what, who knows? ( It was once an assisted living facility.) So, the room was overly perfumed. The HVAC is very, very inadequate. Don't let the room size and pretty pictures fool you. We will not be staying again.

We stayed in the Creekside Cabin at Erik's Ranch in MT and thoroughly enjoyed the environment. The cabin was large, clean, had all the amenities, was private, and had a stream right outside which was so peaceful to listen to. The inside had log walls and high ceilings with a ceiling fan and had a very luxurious cabin feel.

We chose Erik's Retreat mainly due to its good reputation and reviews around the internet, as well as the fact that it wasn't a chain hotel, but not quite an Airbnb either. But after finding out about their mission to provide adults with autism jobs, I felt even more intrigued by this boutique hotel. Located in Edina, a quiet suburb of Minneapolis, Erik's has extremely easy highway access and on a main thoroughfare (Xerxes). It's surrounded by assisted living homes, as it used to be one itself! But you'd never know - although the interior lobby has very eclectic decor (you can take a tour to find out more on the art collected by the building's former owner, in addition to other activities hosted by the hotel's staff), the rooms are extremely modernized and comfortable. In our room, we had a Keurig, mini fridge, a fantastic shower with HOT water, suuuper comfy bed, outlets with USB ports, and a TV that had Netflix access. The color scheme is elegant neutrals, and our room had a lovely grassy courtyard view. Due to the COVID pandemic, when we booked, the staff gave us a call and instructed us how/where to park and how to access the room without coming in contact with staff. We also were reassured that they had upped their sanitizing and cleaning processes, and asked to wear masks whenever we were in public hallways. We had no problems "checking in" over the phone. We also were told that normally we are able to request our breakfast items each day, but due to limited interaction, enough breakfast items for the duration of our stay (apples, oranges, Chobani yogurts, tea bread) were placed in our room before our arrival. Honestly, we preferred it this way! We'd totally stay here again, and I'd urge anyone on the fence to try it. Some notes: the parking is in a safe, but outdoor lot about a 2-3 minute walk away. Our room temperature was comfortable, but when we were feeling warm and wanted to turn up the AC, we found it was already at the lowest temp it could go.
