Incredibly kind and compassionate staff here. And they leave appointments open for emergencies, which is always so good to know (and we’ve had to use that a couple times). Most importantly, our dog loves to visit! :)

We made the switch to East Lake Animal Clinic last year as our last vet was too far away.
The staff at East Lake is phenomenal. They are easy to get a hold of when I have a question. My dog enjoys going because she knows she is getting so much love.

They did a great job caring for our mini Aussie during COVID and after the riots. Our dog was struggling just as we were.
The clinic is a wonderful thing that exists in the neighborhood.

We've had only exceptional care from the staff and vets at East Lake Animal Clinic. They've been very thorough and attentive to each of our cats, whether for regular checkups or getting something checked out. The vets have been great about providing contextual information about the visit and the cats' health throughout the visit, and the front desk staff are so nice and have always called to make sure the cats are doing well after their visits. Would definitely recommend!

A few years ago, my cat had a dental cleaning with a famous corporate chain of veterinary clinics. After that cleaning, she suffered for multiple days with lethargy and diarrhea.
At a Vetco vaccine clinic (this is not the corporate chain I'm referring too-I did have a very positive experience with Vetco when I used them earlier this spring), the veterinarian giving my cats shots informed me that my female cat needed a tooth pulled and she was experiencing gingivitis. So, I needed to find a new regular veterinarian as I was so scared I hadn't brought my cats to see a vet for a few years as a result of the incident at the corporate chain.
I forwarded all my feline's medical records to this clinic and informed them that I needed her to have a dental cleaning that used different anesthetics from the disastrous event years ago. They informed me that they used a different protocol anyway and reviewed her records so they knew to avoid those medications.
I informed them *many times* and I know I must have been annoying-that I was so nervous for my cat's well being for her dental cleaning that she needed. However, I have to stress the workers at this clinic are *very accommodating*, so lovely, so sweet, so helpful and empathetic. They were kind enough to call me to tell me when her cleaning was done and she was recovering very well! When I picked up my kitty that afternoon, I was told she even fed churu as a treat (how sweet!).
A miracle happened that day-my cat was perfectly content and happy to be picked up that afternoon. The only lingering effect was that she was higher than a kite! She rolled around on the floor like she was on catnip when I brought her home. Within a few hours, the high wore off and she was completely back to normal.
On another note, my cat did not need any teeth pulled. She just needed a clean and I was told her teeth were healthy. I also had the vets trim her nails and give my fluffy lump of love a sanitary trim. For everything, the total came to approximately $500 (this is a really good deal). They even gave me an estimate when I brought her into her first appointment!
It should also be noted that all of the staff members I've seen were women and gave off a classic, welcoming vibe. I also get the impression they're LGBTQ friendly. This also greatly adds to the clinic's appeal.
Also, the $75 pre-pay fee for the first appointment is a very reasonable cost and ensures that a pet parent actually bothers to bring their animal to the clinic. It encourages them to be better stakeholders for the sake of their pet's health. Maybe more places should do this.
Anyway, I can't wait to bring in my other cat for his appointments and make him a new patient of this clinic too.
