I brought back this beautiful painting from Colombia and needed an expert to stretch and reframe it. I could not be happier with the results! I was able to get it back in a short amount of time too! Communication was easy and clear. Price was fair and payment was a breeze. I would highly recommend!!

Dan's services are amazing. From shadow boxing fine art to stretching canvas, everything was done with care. The canvas was stretched like a drum & gessoed to perfection. Turn around time was great for the project. I would highly recommend his services for any painters/ artists out there!

Dan does beautiful, carefully crafted work. I just had a batik piece framed. When he began milling the reclaimed wood, the colors in the grain turned out to be inconsistent. He conscientiously sent a photo and asked how I'd like to proceed. The extra colors in the wood picked up the mottled background of the dyed fabric and the result wound up looking even better than what I'd requested. He definitely has an artist's eye and takes pride in his work. Honest, friendly- a pleasure to work with. I couldn't be happier with the finished product!

Looks like a great craftsman. Beautiful work. Unfortunately the website & business phone number no longer work. I will assume this business has closed until I am told otherwise. Has he relocated?

Dan did a great job of repairing the frame of a watercolor that had fallen off the wall. Nice guy, fair prices.

If you need something framed, I highly recommend calling Dan. He will meet you at his shop and custom design the frame and mat and glass right there. We looked at 30 different combinations and it felt like he cared more about getting it right than I did. He loves this stuff. Price was very reasonable. I walked in with no clue and ended up with a very cool custom frame made of reclaimed barnwood. I will never go anywhere else for a frame. You can't beat one on one service from the guy actually doing the wood work that takes pride in it. Not to mention the convenience of calling him directly and driving into the building to pick it. FYI I think this is my first review on Yelp. Good stuff.

I've had over six pieces of artwork framed by Dan and I am more than impressed by the superior quality and care of the work he does. They range in size from small to extra large movie poster size. The unique materials & professional matting really elevated the works and they look great in my home. I've also used DVG Framing for making personalized gifts for friends. I highly recommend this business and will continue using them for my future needs.

There are three things an adult man needs in today's society: -A barber. No, a hair stylist does not count. We can't wear makeup, but we can be sure that one thing is correct. -A tailor. Buy clothes that come closest to fitting, then make them. You look and feel better. Shocker. -A serious business framer. If you go to Michael's Craft stores with your coupon in hand, I will strike you on the mouth for even considering that crap before you enter your car. Dan is my framer and he's a one-man operation that just moved to Nordeast Minneapolis. He does everything by a quick email/phone call, but has normal hours that you can stop by for. His prices are inexpensive, which is normally impossible in actual framing for high quality wood and glass that's worth putting in a house or really any non-dorm room. When you're spending $30-50 at Ikea for plastic with plexi or $100-150 with food and glass, the choice isn't that difficult. He makes a variety of other products too if you need a coat rack to iPhone holder to a variety of driftwood objects. He's a bit of a wizard craftsman, harking from an earlier day of commerce. I find him comically cheap and have no idea how he stays in business, but when you make a solid product, it's odd but people want to come back to you and refer you to friends. Definitely check him out if you're framing your friend's hipster artwork or grandmother's portrait. He's worth the google search.
